I'd wish I could be sorry for him, but that'd be a lie. Still, I will miss him bringing a smile to my face every time he opens his mouth.

Shit's gon get real after this though. I'm sure.

I have realised, that with Karl getting a more expanded role as a completely awful person (after he was only a slightly awful traitor because we'd barely gotten to know him) that this means we now have two actors who played characters I really liked on British TV shows playing irredeemable bast*rds here (the other being Ramsey).

Loved all that stuff north of the wall, was great to have an episode mostly focused there for once, and it's now suddenly the most exciting field of play from just one episode.

I always find the scenes at the Wall (and North of the Wall) are my favourite. There's always so much going on. You would assume that Jon Snow won't meet Bran, as they both have fairly different stories, although I suppose it would be a touching moment after all the awfulness the Starks have endured over the past three seasons. But all that, and the White Walkers makes it so interesting.

Is it just me or is Littlefinger's accent so much different.

I've noticed that too. Lately it seems like Aiden Gillen's forcing the words out like he has a chesty cough or something. He's certainly not as smooth as he was in earlier seasons which is a shame because as a character he's one of the most interesting.

I would guess Jon and his party will arrive at Craster's in at least the next couple of episodes but with Locke and the rebel Night's Watch things won't be plain sailing for a Stark reunion. Which would be a shame, I'm longing for one of the Starks to run into another at some point even if it's just briefly.

I can't imagine Locke would find Bran though, which leads me to thinking that someone else (or something) will save Bran etc. and not Jon Snow. Bran's story is all about that bloody raven, but I can't imagine we'll meet the Raven until the later stages of the season.

Hot Pie! Hot Pie!

I think that was way better than last week's, which, Tyrion's speech aside, didn't do a whole lot for me. This week we had Arya action, The Mountain making a blinder of a (re)entrance, Oberyn being a bit of a dark horse, Hot Pie, and all the great action in the Eyrie which would be heavily spoilerific if I talked details. Wow.

WINTERFELL NEEDS A MOON DOOR

I've liked every episode so far, lots of foreshadowing in it, which seems to be a recurring theme. I think the problem the show suffers from is that the episodes never feel as powerful when the more popular characters aren't present. This episode had everyone though.

That final scene!! Obvious given the 5 minutes prior, but amazing all the same. I'm loving the Pod/Brienne relationship too, but then I think she could be friends with anyone really. The killer scene was Oberyn with Tyrion though, so much hate yet such a clever operator too, love it.

Also I feel compelled to say that as beautiful as he is, 5 seconds of Dario ASS does not equal MINUTES of Melisande FLAPPING THEM ABOUT. (Plus he's done frontal loads of times before, make him do it again, in HD).

Sorry John but Melisandre in the nude is always a great sight. Stannis' wife deffo has a girl crush!

Gutted it's not back on our screens for two weeks!

Oh I don't actually have an issue with her tits, really. It's just fair is fair, like 2 minutes of boob should at least be balanced out SOMEWHERE (and a blurry cock in ep 2 or 3 doesn't tip the scales very much).

I'm not even THAT bothered by it, but it's just the same sexist shit that is all over TV/the media and it's silly.

Another great episode with some tits flapping about thrown in :D I found the end scene was rather predictable though.

Next week, according to the trailer seems to have (in case)

Theon/Ramsay at Moat Cailin, which I think is where Jojen and Meera's dad is lord

, which will be interesting. And I hope the three parties heading towards/at the Eyrie finally cross paths. I'm half expecting Sansa and Littlefinger to make a swift exit while the Hound hears of the news and diverts Arya away though based on the show's love of keeping characters apart.

I'm not too bothered about the nudity either way, at least they are free to show it but I'm not watching it for the boobies (although they are quite nice to have). I'm not expecting full male frontal nudity though because that seems to be the ultimate sin in TV programming, even above gratuitous violence.

I (and the room I was watching it with), was quite creeped out with Littlefinger kissing Sansa though, that just seems incredibly wrong. I know Sophie Turner's 18 now but that was the most 'ick' I've felt at a TV show for a while. I wonder where they're going with that, particularly as Petyr's made it quite clear he's Cat-sexual (so will have to go for the next best thing now, oo-er).

I think it is pretty much that, Sansa is the closest he'll ever get to her mother so she will do. Lysa was obviously close, but she was utterly INSANE and also not a looker or a nice person.
Yeah I think that's reasonable about Littlefinger and Sansa. However maybe he also sees her as the keys to the North. It's clear from the way he acts, and the choices he makes that he obviously has a much larger agenda on his mind. But I'm stumped as to what it is yet.
He has blatantly said in the past that he wants the Iron Throne, so being both Lord of The Vale and Winterfell (if he could ensnare Sansa) would suit him nicely. It has been said The North would always follow the Starks so he could have 2 armies beneath him if he can pull it off.
This season has been absolutely incredible thus far and I'm only on episode 3 at the moment! So glad I took time to get into the show because my patience completely paid off! <333

My opinion exactly. Until last season I found it very hit & miss, but this season I've been loving it since the premiere!

I think S2 was by far the best. It took a little longer than S1 and S3 to get to the BIG stuff, but the intense characterisation and also focus on my favourite characters meant it ended up being by far my favourite. I also think it's the best in terms of actual storytelling too. S3 was a bit of a mess in the end, really. Lots of good stuff but really oddly paced, especially the finale. Right now S4 is reminding me a lot of S2, actually. The big opener/opening pair and then the 4/5/6 episodes of slow build to what will surely be an explosive climax. I CANNOT WAIT.
