May 22, 201411 yr Season 2 was still early in the saga and there was so little progression it almost bored me.
May 22, 201411 yr I liked Season 2, infact it's probably my favourite so far. The only problem with that season was I think the show struggled a bit by losing the moral and focal point in Ned. I preferred Dany's story then where she was a struggling Queen, rather now where she's Queen Bee. I think it's also important to forget that Season 2 was when the show's ratings and popularity began to improve dramatically, which helps the show massively. Now they're afforded the budget for better visuals, to show the direwolves & dragons more often - this leads to a greater viewing experience
May 22, 201411 yr Just caught up with this episode, and the three seasons prior, WHERE HAS THIS SHOW BEEN ALL MY LIFE etc., another great episode, had a lot to follow after Tyrion's speech, but it was great. This show is SO GOOD, but Season 4 is looking like the best season already. So many turning moments so far and I'm sure there's still a massive climax to come. The narrative at Kings Landing is always so gripping to watch (mainly thanks to the excellent actors), but I do hope in the remaining episodes they give a little more progression to the Stark children's narratives, Bran's in particular seems like a big one, but seems to be a bit stationary atm, Theon's is similar. I'd imagine season 5 will cover them more (or depending on what happens in the books as I don't know yet) Edited May 22, 201411 yr by Chez Wombat
May 23, 201411 yr Finally fully caught up and OH MY GOD. Every. Fucking. Episode! If 7 first episodes contained SO much action then I'm REALLY anticipating the finale! GAGGING 4 GoT ELEGANZA
May 23, 201411 yr I can't wait either. Especially as I feel the last 3 episodes are all going to be momentous. Great to see people catching up though, loving that the fanbase continues to grow and grow.
June 2, 201411 yr SANSA. I pretty much got goosebumps from THAT *.* And that entrance! I DIED. OH MY GOD THAT ENDING I HAVE NO WORDS
June 2, 201411 yr Author Sansa descending the staircase was THE QoL moment this season so far, so out of character, yet utterly brilliant. Dany and her STARE OF DOOM was also amazing. The ending was ridic, didn't mind the actual GORE of it, but did not expect that outcome at all. Though I guess when something goes THAT well in GoT it always ends in tears.
June 2, 201411 yr FINALLY watched it John! Can't even imagine what will happen in the next 2 episodes omfg Arya and Sansa reunited, it seems!
June 2, 201411 yr Arya and Sansa reunited, it seems! Since when did anything good happen for the Starks?
June 2, 201411 yr Author Well, other than NORTH I haven't got a clue either. I am UNSULLIED by book spoilers though, bar one big one around the end of book 4 (which I spoilt by reading the blurb of book 5)
June 2, 201411 yr A hint but not that subtle a one. Read with caution Valar Morghulis Edited June 2, 201411 yr by Severin
June 2, 201411 yr I want Arya to kill Cersei with her own hands please okay. After that do whatever you want with her oops
June 2, 201411 yr Author I want Cersei to LIVE. I know this is unrealistic and I will have to steel myself for her death, but dammit I want her to somehow escape somehow.
June 2, 201411 yr Now that was a great episode, but I wasn't expecting it to end that way. Gross out moment.
