She does! It's called 'Regarde-nous' and it reached a peak of #118 (before dropping out this week) :kink:

HATER!

Just listened to it, it's lovely, besides the first part of the chorus

You should just be thankful the album is still top 40 :jump:

HUGE sales for Pharrell. Who'd have thunk he'd be that much of an album seller? The American Stromae?

That comparison is more apt than I'd like to admit  He still needs to find his 'Formidable' though, or he could end up more like the American Daft Punk (though 'Instant Crush' has given them a new lease of life which is lovely).

Oh at Indila's album already dropping :(. Just hoping she gets some longevity as her second single should smash very soon with the video release (hopefully).

How would she not drop when Pharrell sold more than Indila did when she was #1?

YTD post updated - Indila and Pharrell are right into the top 10 and I suspect they shall stay there for the entirety of the year :D

For some reason I'm getting Emeli Sandé vibes off Indila and it's beginning to worry me.

You know I thought 'Wasting My Young Years' would perform similarly to how 'Skyscraper' performed in the UK last year, so I'm really impressed it's sticking around like this. I do think they'll end up being one-hit wonders but they're gonna get great album sales from this so it doesn't really matter too much.

"Strong" hit top ten in Belgium and Australia and I can see that taking off with proper support.

I really like that 'Derniere Danse' track by Indila.

It sounds like the kind of track that could do well anywhere.

If they got it on an ad in the UK, I think it could be huge.

If only they could get it on an ad :( English-speaking countries still need to get over the language barrier. But Indila is fantastic, you should check out

"Les Enfoirés" are #1 this week with their album !

It's an album released every year for a charity, many famous artists record cover versions of current hits, the concert is shown on primetime TV, and it always gets massive sales.

It has to be confirmed but apparently they have "only" sold 103k this time, which would be the lowest first week in years for them.

First week sales of Les Enfoirés

2009 : 152.196

2010 : 151.592

2011 : 135.159

2012 : 137.730

103k is definitely a poor start for Les Enfoirés - any particular reason for the steep decline? I wonder if perhaps the French public are getting sick of them

Quite a sharp fall for Pharrell as well, Indila only a couple of hundred copies away from overtaking him again :o

Alizée has finally released her relatively long-awaited comeback:

27. Alizée - Blonde

Not a bad start, hopefully it'll go top 20 but it's a bit... childish. Not sure it'll be the big hit she wants.
