i think prob cause peeps would go posting around like maniacs posting c**p in order to increase the posts. with views it shows if the forum is popular amongst all members.

Not really becuase all you would need to do now is just go in and out of the forum loads of times

its about different peeps watching ur forum not just u. its based on that as well.

I might do this one week or so, just to see if it makes any difference. It would be more work for me(or whoever did it), as the views are automatic and while the total posts per forum are displayed on the main index, they are not recorded anywhere.

My feeling is it wouldn't make much difference(pretty sure Robbie always top on posts), however I'm not sure until it's done.

I kno wu do a lot for this site and its soooooooo appreciated. But why not do a chart for most posts (of that week) and and views ( of that week). Just an idea.

Just did a post count for last week. Amazingly msn had a copy of the forum page dated 27-Aug!!

You can work it out yourself now ;) Not looking greatly different except Elvis gets large post count but doesn't same in views.

Based on views because the invision forum software can be queried to show post views for a date range.

There is nothing in the software that can be it based on posts. However, the number of posts are live public information, so it wouldn't be impossible for anyone to do a chart.

i think th echart might be better waiting as its counted now or has been,its works out very fair overall

we have 3000 more posts in the minogue forum than the madonna forum,only about a month agao they had 250 posts more than us

Its quite amazing how well these posts are adding up. By the way ive been posting about the site on www.kylie.co.uk, www.kylie.com & www.danniimusic.com so hopefully they will come over. A few already ave but only to view. They not posted yet so hopefully they will.

the view is important to but if they posted it would also be great

Views are great considering thats wat the optional chart is based on but if tey posted and got involved it would be brilliant

YES ITS ALL IMPORTANT PLUS THE MORE POSTERS the more enjoyable for us regulars to,systemalert has his uses after all his view might help although his posts can be a hinderance
