I wouldn't really watch it unless you've seen the series, I know it doesn't carry on as such, but some bits you won't get otherwise.

Love this film though, along with everything else they've ever done <3.

Commentary's funny too.

Someone new coming in and watching this as their first taste of LoG will be somewhat lost to be honest, if you havn't seen the show, then you wont really get much out of it....

...Which would explain its relatively poor showing at the box office....

Hmm, it's such a shame because they are so clever and good actors. I mean, in the film Steve is playing Herr Lipp trying to be Steve, if that makes sense lol.

I went to see it on day of release, there weren't many people in there to see it.

I was never a huge fan of this series but OMG when i saw this film i just loved it. Its absolutly brilliant

Was the tv series too complicated for you or something lol?

The film has the same sort of humour as the series anyway, so I don't really get what you're saying here.

Its not that hard to understand. I never really watched the series but knew about it. I saw the film and enjoyed it. Simple as that.

You might like it more now though if you watch it again.

after watching the Neil LaBute remake of the Wicker Man, i was thinking why couldn't they have been given the chance to make it as a serious non-comedy film.

think they would have made a better film than LaBute and also wouldnt have gone to far as naming the main characters Edward Malus and Willow Woodward (even more 'Aren't we so clever' cringeworthy than calling the two dogs from the Bedazzled remake after Pete and Dud)

i love the league of gentlemen, my fa is the christmas specia, 'my wivvve would like to uze ure tooiilett'
