Pharrell speeds past his previous peak on my chart last summer as "Happy" jumps from 11 to 3 but French language music makes a big impression on this week's Top 10 as Maitre Gims confirms his biggest solo hit on my chart by rising three notches to 2, Stromae gets his third Top 10 as "Tous les memes" leaps from 19 to 10 and Indila's first successful solo single jumps from 17 to 9. Indeed there is a lot in common with the French chart this week .... and with the Australian chart... Jason De Rulo at 1 (2 in Australia), Maitre Gims at 2 (3 in France), Pharrell at 3 (1 in Australia and France), Magic at 5 (3 in Australia), Lily Allen at 6 (up from 25 to 12 in France), John Legend at 7 (4 in Australia), Indila at 9 (2 in France), Stromae with "Tous les memes" at 10 (4 in France)...in addtition "Formidable" at 5 in France reached 2 in my chart, "Hey Brother" at 6 in France reached 1 in my chart and "Royals" at 7 in France also reached 1 in my chart. And another song which is sure to reach the Top 5 of both countries and all around the world enters my chart this week at 11 for the mega teaming up of Shakira and Rihanna on "Can't remember to forget you". Shakira has been Top 4 times on my chart in 2001 with "Whenever Wherever" and "Underneath your clothes", in 2006 with "Hips don't lie" and in 2011 with "Je l'aime a mourir" whilst Rihanna has been top twice with "Pon de Replay" in 2005 and in 2007 with "Umbrella".
