ESC Today has revealed that Georgia will internally select their artist for 2014 just as they did last year with Nodi & Sophie.

GPB, the Georgian national broadcaster has confirmed to esctoday.com that Georgia will select its forthcoming Eurovision representative via an internal selection.

The management of GPB will be responsible to select the singer that will represent Georgia at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen next May. The Georgian broadcaster is yet to decide the mechanism it will use to select the 2014 Georgian entry, either via an internal song selection or a televised song selection. More details will be disclosed in due course.

In 2013 GPB opted for an internal selection when Sopho Gelovani and Nodi Tatishvili were selected to fly the Georgian flag in Malmo with Thomas G:son's Waterfall, achieving a 15th place in the final.

Some Soph/fia/o to win yasssss

wot

2010 obviously.

Although ALL of Sophos can be Sofias if they want, as I believe Sopho is just a diminutive of Sofia.

God I'd remembered her as SOPHIA

Look let's just use the OLD DAME VERNACULAR and just call them all SOPH

I think this is going to be released tomorrow, I'm very excited for this song as it sounds like it could be very interesting!

Because semi 2 wasn't anti-competitive enough.

Still, it's... unique.

What a tragic year this is turning out to be. Everything is so MEDIOCRE.

I don't even know what this is and what they're trying to achieve with it.

Is it bad that I kind of like it? I feel like there's a great song in here somewhere fighting to get out but I don't think they go more than about 20 seconds with that melody until another yodel session.

It's awful. i Hope that doesn't make the final!

I have a bad feeling that azerbaijan is going to be the only country that comes out with a great song :(

It is interesting, but I'm not loving it at the moment.
