I hope they don't try to cram the Fray on to it like they do for an awful lot of these spin offs.

That or Pompeii by Bastile

It's not directly related to Now music but I'll carry on anyway~

Artists that are signed to Warner no longer upload their videos to Vevo either. What's with their exclusion of other companies?

Good, I look forward to rating it, and seeing what tracks go down well with fellow Buzzjackers. :) Now 50 is one of the best for me, and also an interesting one too, I think.

It's the only Now album to feature a Travis and 5ive single, even though both acts have had hits previous to Now 50, and after in Travis' case, and was the first Now album to feature a Daft Punk, Westlife, Wyclef Jean and Jennifer Lopez track even though they had had already been churning out hits for years before.

It features N-Trance's Set You Free for the second time, which was re-released again in 2001 thanks to the Rob Searle remix, but Now 50 featured the original version.

It's also the last time Jamiroquai, Destiny's Child, The Lighthouse Family, Misteeq, Wheatus, Eve and Bob The Builder featured on a Now CD.

Best. Now. Ever. Seriously <3 So many memories tied with this one! CAN'T WAIT to rate it!

LEN - Steal My Sunshine deserves a placing on 'Now Summer' but due to it being included on 'Now Rock' I really can't see it having a place on there! :drama: Such a bizarre inclusion on Now Rock! :drama:

I can totally see them adding it again. They do that a lot of that at the moment. I remember when they took time in creating a Spin-Off. NOW Decades is still pretty amazing, even though it's 11 years old.

LEN is very summery despite the fact it charted in the middle of Winter.

I brought NOW Rock, it's actually not that bad. I just think they should've gone with a different title for the album. Some great songs.

BUT! The track listing for NOW Summer is here.

It's alright I guess. Nice to see a mix of old and new. I thought they'd try and add some songs that missed out on NOW 87, perhaps "Rather Be" or "Into the Blue". They are really milking "Happy" at the moment, aren't they?

Love the third disc, We're Going To Ibiza *.* there's a song I never thought would be resurrected for the Now specials!
That looks great actually!

Looking at that, I was just about to say N-Dubz Number 1 is on there twice, but for some reason they've listed track 29 twice.

Other than that it's got quite a good variety of hits on. A little bit of old, a little bit of new......and surprisingly there is no Robbie Williams on there, unless you include Relight My Fire as part of Take That.

Rather good tracklisting, maybe even worth a purchase, the only weird inclusion is Bastille. Wasn't even released in the summer and unlike the original, doesn't sound 'summery' in the slightest! Are they just putting them on anything these days?

Not really fussed on Now Summer there. Only disc 3 and a couple of other tracks look worth it. Really enjoying Now Rock though.

Definitely going to be this, it'll be the first spin-off I'd ever have bought :cheer:

I was expecting a lot more Europop really. Maybe even some Geri Halliwell.
Do you now what NOW album is really good?! NOW 69 It's absolutely perfect! Even disc 2 doesn't have many faults.

Ok...the ad starts with the worst song I've ever heard. :(

I got Now Summer yesterday. Some strange non-summery inclusions on the tracklist (I LOVE it but is DJ Sammy's Heaven even remotely summery, and Bastille's Of The Night?). A lot of songs are cut or faded out, Katy Perry's solo version of California Gurls features for some reason and there are absolutely awful versions of Party Rock Anthem and Mambo No.5. The intro is cut off of both and the latter even sounds slightly pitched up.

All in all it feels like a really cheaply put together album with little thought put into it. The 'summer classics' Disc 3 probably should have been Disc 1 with the other two discs of a similar ilk, because it's essentially two discs of recent dance hits and a tacked on disc of songs that actually represent the album

That's why I avoided it, because the first 2 discs are way too modern. Now Rock (although it was a very stretched use of the term) got it right a bit more and I'm still listening to that in my car.
Top marks though for including the full version of Heaven as opposed to the UK butchering that appears on Now 53 (CD1, track 1, never forget *.*)
