August 31, 200618 yr And I don't see why Chelsea wouldn't just sign Tevez anyway. Chelsea only have 2 recognized out and out strikers and he's certainly better than Drogba!
August 31, 200618 yr Author Well it seems it's all down to MSI ... 6 hours left to sign Gallas, here's hope anyway!!! Supposivly Abramovic is a major financial backer for MSI so he's have the power ti tell them what to do but I still really don't understand why they've got to West Ham. Chelsea must definitley have a say in this and it wouldn't surprise me if Chelsea get first option on every single player thats on West Ham's books becuase of Abramovic funding the deal. However good the players might be though, theres no gurantee that they'll live up to their expectations.
August 31, 200618 yr The group funding this 'MSI' are part funded by Roman Abramavich so maybe they're just a feeder club for Chelsea and they're using you to see how they get on in the Prem ...
August 31, 200618 yr I highly doubt the West Ham deal is Abramovic. It's a hell of a lot more likely to be MSI that are behind it! Same thing ;) Abramovich is rumoured to be the bankroller of MSI
August 31, 200618 yr Well it seems it's all down to MSI ... 6 hours left to sign Gallas, here's hope anyway!!! If you get Gallas you will get 3rd Gallas for me is the best defender in the premiership
August 31, 200618 yr Author The group funding this 'MSI' are part funded by Roman Abramavich so maybe they're just a feeder club for Chelsea and they're using you to see how they get on in the Prem ... Thats what I would have though, but now they've signed permanent deals something really seems fishy. All the best players to come out of Argentina have all played for big european teams and played in the champions league and these two are no different, yet they play for a club who are playing UEFA cup gootball but have an extrely tough first match.
August 31, 200618 yr If you get Gallas you will get 3rd Gallas for me is the best defender in the premiership But Cole is training with England at the moment. The Reyes deal seems to have died, and I don't see Wenger playing him ... All in all a GREAT day for Arsenal FC.
August 31, 200618 yr According to Talksport's Gabriele Marcotti Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, us and Portsmouth and West Ham were all offered those 2 players but were not interested in the terms of the deal so given the top clubs in the country said no and a club that has a club record signing of £7m buy them something very dodgy going on
August 31, 200618 yr But Cole is training with England at the moment. The Reyes deal seems to have died, and I don't see Wenger playing him ... All in all a GREAT day for Arsenal FC. Takes 45 mins to get from Manchester to London on a plane, nearly 6 hrs left, still time
August 31, 200618 yr Takes 45 mins to get from Manchester to London on a plane, nearly 6 hrs left, still time I reckon Gallas won't be involved in the deal, I can't see Chelsea giving us one the best defenders in the league ... Someing like 20M, which we won't even be able to spend is what we'll get, Wenger's a ****ing genius!
August 31, 200618 yr Author Well theres definitley something up but i'd be surprised if we found out TBH, although top journalist in England will be trying to get the full details of the deal. Well TBH I know Arsenal have only bought Rosicky but there is still 6 hours left, and theres always January. Even though Wenger is a good manager with his tactics he is very stubborn on the transfer front and he never likes to spend big on a player.

We'll already have no chance of getting a top 3 place by Jan.
August 31, 200618 yr I think 12m on Wallcott and 16m on Reyes shows that he can be prepared to spend fairly big...

Someing like 20M, which we won't even be able to spend is what we'll get, Wenger's a ****ing genius! Gallas is in the last year of his contract Chelsea lose him for nothing if they can't get him out as part of a deal I would still say 65% you will get Gallas
August 31, 200618 yr Gallas is in the last year of his contract Chelsea lose him for nothing if they can't get him out as part of a deal I would still say 65% you will get Gallas I doubt Chelsea care that about losing the money anyway. £5m for Duff shows that really, they don't care... August 31, 200618 yr Author I think 12m on Wallcott and 16m on Reyes shows that he can be prepared to spend fairly big... I suppose so but those deals are spread out and there are no gurantees that they'll ever play the full amount due if they don't make so many appearances for their club or country. Reyes was a relativley good buy but he's got an attitude about him and he wants to leave Arsneal and it doesn't look like he'll keave until january at the earliest.
August 31, 200618 yr Another new arrival for Blackburn boss Mark Hughes as Shabani Nonda (1833) has signed from AS Roma on a season-long loan with an option to make the move permanent. Can someone shed any light on who this is for me?
August 31, 200618 yr Author I can't say i've ever heard of him but according to Wiki he's a regular internationl for Congo and he played in the 2004 champions league final for Monaco. His scoring r is pretty good record is pretty good as well.
August 31, 200618 yr Can someone shed any light on who this is for me? He's OK, not a starter for Roma regually ...
August 31, 200618 yr http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport/default.stm Keeps flashing up that Reyes and Baptista have swapped on a loan. Why loan ?
