Posted January 31, 201411 yr "Part II (On The Run)" will be released as the third single from the album ""Magna Carta... Holy Grail". The song was written by Jay-Z, James Fauntleroy, Timothy "Timbaland" Mosley, Jerome "J-Roc" Harmon and the production was handled by the latter two. It is viewed as a sequel to Knowles' and Jay-Z's 2002 collaboration "'03 Bonnie & Clyde", a song which was rumored to be about their relationship. "Part II (On the Run)" is a slow-tempo R&B and hip hop ballad instrumentally complete with synths and drums, and its lyrics refer to a rebellious couple in love and describe their dangerous relationship. It was also nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration along with his collaboration with Justin Tmberlake "Holy Grail". But the latter won the award.."Part II (On The Run)" has already debuted at number 93 on the UK Singles Chart when Jay Z released his album last summer. VNI6pNjeqjQ
January 31, 201411 yr Second best on the album (after 'Holy Grail'), so I'm glad they're releasing it. It might be overshadowed by 'Drunk in Love' though? Hopefully it can be a hit despite that.
January 31, 201411 yr Good choice. There's a few i would have preferred over this, namely 'Nickels and Dimes' and 'Oceans' but both would have done next to nothing so this is the logical choice.
January 31, 201411 yr Author I think that it will have a better luck than "Tom Ford". The latter failed to chart in U.k (#164)..But it will face the popularity of "Drunk In Love" which it has a big impact on the audience especially after their live performance at the Grammy Awards.
