Naturally, for me, Elvis singing Elvis songs can't be beaten, but over the years, many bands have released cover versions of Elvis songs. Two of my faves are ZZ Top's 'Viva Las Vegas' and UB40's 'Can't Help Falling In Love' (well they are a Brummie band, after all ;) :lol: ) One of the reasons I like them is that they don't try to copy Elvis' style of delivery of the songs. :D

 

I was just wondering if anyone has any other fave cover versions.

I've always quite liked the Pet shop boys right back to west end girls, and this version of Elvis' "Always on my mind" is one of my favourites, hope you like it.

This isn't one of my particular faves, probably because, for me, only Elvis can sing Suspicious Minds (it's one of my all time fave Elvis songs :wub: ) But I'm going to post it because others might like it :D

Agreed, I was a big fan of them in the 80's loved all their early stuff. Quite like some of their new material too, I'm with stupid is one of my faves of the year.
