I'm slightly disturbed how attractive he is there. Take away the piercings and I'm actually SLIGHTLY sold

He's oddly attractive anyway, I thought the same last Saturday really, what is wrong with me?!

But sad rhymes with bad, Robot!!1
'Undo' is like the ballad version of 'Popular' with the lyrical sense of 'Manboy'. *.*

I couldn't help myself and listened to all of the 2:30's. :( Except for YA KNOW Refreshments, Manda (which is a slang word for cunt/vagina in Russian by the way) and Little Huge Thangz coz they all shit

UGHHHH I want to hear the last 30 seconds of Martin's song SO BADLY. IT EXPLODED. *.* My favourite so far!

PAVEL.

I'm disappointed in you. I even nearly congratulated you earlier for resisting the 2:30 previews. *shakes head*

I am waiting too but I just had to listen to Sanna *.*

who was I KIDDING! For like 3 years I couldn't help myself so why start now. I just FORGOT about them last week lmao~

I might just wait for tonight honestly, I only caved last week because of YOHIO and the Winter Olympics (and a feeling I should be doing some work) are providing too many distractions right now.

DTG: Martin Stenmarck, Sanna Nielsen

AC: The Refreshments, J.E.M.

05: Panetoz

06: Pink Pistols

07: Manda

08: Little Great Things

__

J.E.M. - It's modern, young and fresh and everything the show needs in the absence of schlager. Perfect opener and should get enough votes to put them through AC.

The Refreshments - Everything about the staging is luring in for votes so I wouldn't be surprised if they went DTF. Still, with Sanna and Martin in the same DV I'd be middy surprised if they did qualify. Lidköping I say.

Manda - THIS IS NO FIREWORK, LOVE! 7th at best.

Panetoz - Not something I'd play again, but I see the appeal [swingfly, Behrang Miri, Sean Banan?]. Still they'll be majorly overshadowed by J.E.M. so it's a toss over between those two for the last AC spot. The fact that this underwhelms suggests this will come 5th or lower.

Pink Pistols - Slightly baffling to only hear male voices when you're looking at a mixed group on stage, but I guess that's what you get

I hope they play with their image and have a bit of a flirt moment between female and male characters, just for a good old heterosexual joke. The song is a good [gay] crowd pleaser, but I don't see it performing to the heights of other max homo tracks. Still, I wouldn't mind being surprised with this going to Andra Chansen. (Also, why not Straight Up! feat. After Dark? :( )

Sanna Nielsen - I was hoping for something simple and subdued. Just her voice and a dramatic piano. Instead she comes full on Fruity Loops with her Beyoncé-sounding gut-wrentching ballad. If it fails to convince you then the staging will do the trick. If she went DTG all those times before with tracks that were less worth of it [bar Empty Room] then why not with this?

Little Great Things - What even? The sound of Sum 41 circa 2003 doesn't really work anymore. 8th [or 7th if the Grönvall's vote in their masses].

Martin Stenmarck - Everybody loves a good comeback. Pair it with a MAXIMUM track and you've got a contender for the title. It's stadium-anthemic and it won't hurt that it feels like Ulrik's dad has come with a vengeance. Will it surprise us with a AC slot? I see it Top 5 in the Final.

Done well this week, Sanna is the only 1min clip I've heard and I haven't been tempted by the 2:30 clip of Undo yet either!

Saving my *.* for tonight.

(And yes, Linus is actually unnervingly fit in that photo. Didn't get it when he was performing, but sans baggy sweatshirt/clothes in general and I totally get it. Piercings, Tats and all)

I've not listened to any of this week's songs so tonight shall be full of surprises. *.*

JEM: This is generic but god that production is CALLING TO ME. That post-chorus mmm. I'm getting serious Love Generation vibes from these whores though (I want the black one to come out in the STRAY VAGINAL LIPS ENSEMBLE *.*) / 8/10

The Refreshments: 1957 called and this shit wasn't even acceptable then. I know life expectancy's a thing in Sweden but SURELY there aren't enough fossils left who love this kind of thing undiluted (I say this more in hope than reality) / 2/10

Manda: BABY YOU'RE IN SISTAAAA PLAAAATS. It's nice enough and I guess it could shock but really, in a heat this high calibre my big-titted babe Manda's probably going to have to settle for sixth at best. I wouldn't be surprised if she came back in a future year though. / 6.5/10

Panetoz: yeah everyone in africa knows swedish (this is real fun but where are the votes?) / 7/10

Pink Pistols: this is a veritable GAY HEART ATTACK (both in studio/when it crashes out miserably this evening). It's actually not that far off passing for one of the hard rock entries? Thank god for the synths/drag queens. Dark/fabulous (finger pistols ready~) / 9/10

Sanna: taking things to VANILLA CHURCH. I nearly passed out with joy at the power of that key change. The clip cutting out just before a likely money note PAINED ME. It's definitely too soon to say this...but despite this lady being responsible for at least three 12455/10 moments of life so far this might be her best entry yet?! / 10/10

Little Great Things: Nanne how COULD YOU / 1/10

Martin Stenmarck: god this is all rather huge isn't it? This is absolutely wonderful. But I don't want it beating out M'SAN, she's waited long enough and you've HAD YOUR CHANCE / 10/10
