It would be interesting to know what tracks The Saturdays have lost out on / thrown away.

 

I know Leona Lewis admitted she turned down 'We Found Love' and 'Burn'.

 

Had they not rushed to release it, I imagine 'Forever Is Over' would by now be a Kelly Clarkson single :o

The Sats are always taking demos meant for other artists.

Kelly Clarkson is probably one of my favourite artists of all time, but I just can't imagine her singing Forever is Over so I'm glad The Sats have it in their discography!

I can totally hear Kelly sing Forever Is Over.

Sorry but Vanessa White is not sharing anymore vocals on Forever is Over - Una and Rochelle's parts are brilliant enough for me!

Forever Is Over has Kelly Clarkson written all over it, but still glad the sats got it.

I can definitely imagine Kelly on the chorus, but I can't imagine the first verse being sung differently than the way Una does it (she sounds so lush, gosh) ; same for her middle-8 actually.

But Kelly on the middle 8 would even be more amazing !!! :o

P.s. Cameron, lets be honest, Vanessa carries Forever is Over pretty much aside what I listed above :P

The Saturdays were apparently asked to do a version of a song using the instrumental to Holiday by Dizzie Rascal.

...also they were asked to do the vocals for Oopsy Daisy by Chipmunk, but couldnt due to FIO. Funny because one of the lines is "Now my heart beat feels like an 808." And "Now I feel like The Saturdays all week cause me and my heart got crazy issues.".

 

A song with Holidays beag would have been good for Wordshaker or Headlines!

So I was rediscovering Alesha Dixons discography and instantly thought a lot of her songs would have been great for The Sats. Ithen discovered not only was Oopsy Daisy supposed to be recorded by them, but Roll Deep - Take Control feat. Alesha was too... which explains all of the rumours at the time that the girls were doing a song with them.

I don't think it was. When those rumours of the Roll Deep collaboration were around, the members of Roll Deep were quick to slag of The Saturdays

Oh fair enough, probably it was just a rumour and that was it. Shame really because a Wiley collab could be good for them.

I've been listening to the song thinking 'God, the sats should do a song like this'. It's like a mixture of Don't Hold Your Breath & Love Me Harder, just gorgeous!

I don't know. The song is indeed good, but Mollie and Frankie could shit out the biggest bum notes ever together, it would still sound 10000000³x better than Camilla singing...and she's basically all over that song, so it's terribly hard for me to listen to it.
