Like Noahspike said, plenty of women keep their name, especially in show business so I don't know what you are getting at. Did Demi become Demi Willis or Demi Kutcher when she was married to Bruce or Ashton? No. Plus, you don't know what is written in her documents, maybe she is Egan. Jodi obviously kept her name because she worked in the show business being in girlbands and soup opera.

Shane had 10,000 more opening sales than Kian but Shane did release in November where sales are so much higher.

Really happy to see him go top 10! His sales were 8,537 (Thanks Mart!n @ Haven) for those interested! Hopefully it doesn't plummet out all together. He was never going to beat Shane with Shane releasing in November but it's a good achievement! Would be nice to see him release some of his own music though as I'm not really into covers, despite him doing a pretty decent job at it.

I can't wait for Mark's album, I'm expecting huge things from him, especially with all the amazing comments from songwriters and producers. I think he will release it by this year, he always said he won't wait for too long. Plus, the fact he is recording so often these days means he is probably nearly done.

 

As for Nicky, he is indeed recording but he said he won't release it any time soon. So I don't think he gave up, he just takes it slow, since he became a father again and that he has his own radio show.

 

about Kian - The fact he was so honest on how the album came to be can only help him and no matter how low the sales are, the record company will remember that it was a Top 10 album. also, like I already said - people can finally hear him sing which general public never got to hear. And sure, some will mock him for not being good enough, but he is well aware of what he can and can't do and I do also think he has done a decent job with the album - I honestly like his album more than Brian's cover album, even if I do think Brian has a stronger voice than Kian.

His voice is much better than i thought. I like his honestly about the album, in short a cash in from im a celeb..... and i believe people like that. Releasing the week before mothers day will probably help him have a better chart life in a 2 week period, but 25,000 - 30,000 total sales is the outcome in the end for the album i think. I do agree that the record company will see it as a top 10 album and possibly eye up future projects.

Outside the top 200 I think. If it had made it, Music Week would have likely included its position in the Sales article. It's currently #169 on iTunes though so maybe it'll enter this week.

how can i listen to kians new album online?

I just heard this song yesterday. I haven't heard the original version but i like Kian's version. I think that he was overshadowed by the others when he was in Westlife..Maybe his new album/songs will help him to be more famous than the others. Especially after the disappointed sales of Shane Filan.
