One of my favourite books a novel by Australian author Markus Zusak, the book is set in Nazi Germany, Emily Watson stars in the movie, the trailer looks amazing.

I adore the book! I'm heavily looking forward to seeing this at the cinema.

I watched this film at cinema three weeks ago. It was a good movie but i haven't read the book yet..Sophie Nelisse is one of the most promising new actress!!! She played in "Monsieur Lazhar" too. She was very good as Liesel and the role was suitable for her...Geoffrey Rush and Emily Watson are great actors!!! This movie has also very high average score in Imdb (7,7)!!!

What a great film, its not the type of films I usually see, but since I read the book, it was well adapted and well executed, Sophie Nelisse just fitted into the role of Liesel so perfectly. I did find it overwhelming at the end. Totally recommend it even if you haven't read the book.

The kids were wonderful as were the entire cast.

 

I loved it all the way through, even with the running time (slightly over 2 hours) it didn't feel overly long. The ending was

heartbreaking but it was obvious not everything could work out. At least the flash-forward helped it end on a better note
