I've got a sats playlist with Ego, Disco Love, Notoriois, Not Giving Up and Higher in. I try and play it enough so each song gets 10 plays a day - that's how much you are allowed to give.

So in regards to chart rules, will all the streams that took place prior to release get counted on release week? Or is it now possible to chart before release week due to streams?

 

That's a tricky question, and my guess is no: for a pre-album single, it doesn't get streamings before because they are not counting Youtube views and it's not available on Spotify and similars until the release date.

 

And for post-album singles I think they would just count it on each week separately, as with some album tracks that are cherry picked and end up entering the top100.

If they release the song prior to release on spotify, it CAN chart early, as some songs already have due to mass streaming.
