A duet would be nice but i feel i would prefer a performance of Get Ready For It, by them, that said, a good duet on the Brits grabs headlines and sales.

And they could get another hit single for their discography. My preference would be to promote a song off the album obviously but maybe they could do both!

Maybe they could turn one of the songs on the album into a duet. That would be the best of both worlds - a collab + a promotion of the album.

The 3rd single will be Let In the Sun and it will be released in March. That means Get Ready For It will be released in February. It's weird that there's only a month between single releases. It could mean Get Ready For It won't get too much promotion

Or could it mean that Get Ready For It won't even be a single?

Releasing single 2 and single 3 so close together is a clear sign promotion will be minimal for both.

In the chart thread it is mentioned that we have eight new entries in the top 12 albums as the charts currently stand. I realise some of these will drop through out the week but it is likely Take That will not have a top 20 position in the album chart this week.

These Days is number 25 in the up-date.

I'm hoping the Jonathan Ross show will boost the album sales this month.

I'm starting to doubt Get Ready For It will be a single. We already have an approximate date for the release of Let In the Sun, but no date for Get Ready.

Somehow, I like this idea. It means we could get a 4th video for the 3rd single, which will hopefully be either Flaws or Higher than Higher.

They should be pushing GRFI no end now with the film coming out to rave reviews. They haven't officially announced it true, but I think that's guarding themselves in case it doesn't chart well

I agree. They aren't always confident about their music and maybe they are testing the water with GRFI. The reviews for the film have indeed been excellent so it really is a good time to promote the song. It's a shame the promos for the film don't have the song on them!!

Wondering if they're hoping to get as many of the songs from the album out in the public arena in the run up to the tour ? I would love another single off the album and hope it's Higher Than Higher but I would be surprised if there's another release after Let In The Sun as the tour starts in April.

That's probably right actually, usually they don't tour until May so they can release a third single just before that, with the 2nd coming out in Jan. Not sure Let in the Sun is the best choice of single in its current form. Featuring Calvin Harris it would be a number 1 record lol but I can't see it doing better than GRFI.

Incidentally GRFI will be performed tonight for the JR show

First album by Take That I've gave a chance and listened to! Impressed, it's a good album, no more clear singles after 'These Days' though, they are just all good album tracks. 'Let In The Sun' sounds like a Wanted reject, love 'Give You My Love' & 'Into The Wild' most I reckon.

Glad you enjoyed it Simon! Yeah, there's no clear second single that shouts "big hit". I remember being disappointed with Up All Night being the Circus' 2nd single when songs like Hold Up a Light (esp around Xmas) and Hello were far stronger. I'd take top 15 though with Let in the Sun or GRFI, whichever one is actually the single!

If GRFI climbs after JR and potentially the Brits then it'll be very interesting to see what they do with promotion.

I guess they will do Let In the Sun at the BRITs with an EP and physical single release in March 2.

I think if it does well after a couple of performances at JR etc then it will be. I think GRFI is a much better single than LITS tbh

I don't think Get Ready will be released as a single anymore :(

I like Let In the Sun, but I'd have preferred Get Ready as the 2nd single. However, I would not like to see Flaws or Higher than Higher ditched as the 3rd single in favour of Get Ready.

It's a shame they'll do Let In the Sun at the Brits. Get Ready is a bit darker and has a dramatic build-up. Let's see how it does after the Jonathan Ross show. If it does well, maybe the boys will change their mind and perform it at the Brit Awards.

Yeah, does anyone know if the JR show has much of an impact on chart placings?

I wonder whether they would link up with someone like Calvin Harris at the Brits and do LITS - wishful thinking but that would really boost it

Three is at number 26 in the mid week information made available today

That's not good. Hopefully it'll do a SISYL and rebound in the latter part of the week
