I would expect TT to win a lifetime achievement award from The Brits, but I imagine it'll be timed to coincide with their 25th anniversary.

LITS was actually really well done, I'm still amazed that it didn't do anything in the charts

The performance was ok but if I remember correctly the staging was a bit strange and they were all positioned quite far away from each other, so it didn't look like they were a band. I would like to think the Brits will acknowledge their contribution to UK music over the past 25 years but that remains to be seen.

My main disappointed of the past week or so is that WYBTFM will never get the recognition that in my opinion it deserves. It is a classic TT sound with some wonderful lyrics and beautiful music. We've all been saying they should come back with a classic ballad. Well they had one, which if there was any justice would have been a big hit. One can only surmise why they chose such a weak song, but they did. Either they were pressured into choosing that song by the record company, or for some unfathomable reason, the three of them believed HB was the best out of the four new songs :)

That's better than expected. They have only today left to go, maybe they can make top 15 after all, which would be an achievement after everything that's gone wrong.

I kinda expected for the album to be 16 or 17 by now.

Top 15 could be achievable, that is unless, sales have completely dropped off.

Still no official news as far as I can see about pulling the album and when it is expected to be back.

Surely it doesn't take long to sort that problem out and copy whatever amount again.

There was an official message from Polydor yesterday:

The first run of stock of the new Take That release 'III - 2015 Edition' has unfortunately had to be recalled from retailers due to a fault on the DVD included in the package. New stock is currently being manufactured and we are working to get it distributed as soon as possible. Anyone who has bought this title should contact the relevant retailer who will advise when they will be available to provide a replacement. We apologise to all those who bought defective copies of this release.

This could all take a while to sort out. The new release most certainly wont be making any profits now.

Such a mess. Imagine how TT are feeling!
100.000 dvd-s going to waste - Universal lost A LOT of money, but they all have themselves to blame. They should have checked the master copy before approving the multiplication.
I just saw the link to the Charts in Ireland, Three is listed as re-entry at number 41

I can't believe they've missed top 10 by one place.

Waaay better than I anticipated. I don't think there are many artists who can pull that - have almost nothing to sell and chart so high.

Number 11 is so annoying and in mirror to Ireland they missed the top 40 also by 1 place. Number 11 is slightly higher than we feared, and if nothing, it has managed to beat the peak Progress Live achieved.

So it would have definitely gone top 10 if it hadn't been recalled.

So frustrating that Hey Boy is 58 on sales but doesn't even make the top 100 officially

The position is ok all things considered. However, I would be interested to know the sales figures. My guess would be pretty dire. Surprised how poor the sales are in the run up to Christmas for all artists outside of Adele. I hope most people like her album because there'll be a lot of them under trees come Christmas morning :)

Sold over 20k.

To be fair, 20k of a defective product is a great result, which finally takes III past half a million!

Good result! Half a million is good by any standard.

Apparently they are sending the replacements on the 4th

Really annoying to see Hey Boy at 58 on sales, i wonder where it charted officially. Sales for Three are ok, considering, shame it missed the top 10 by 1 place. It charts much lower here in Ireland at number 41
