20k is no small achievement at all. Leona and other artists haven't managed 20k with their releases all year long. To sell 20k with a re-release in just 3 days shows that TT have still a while to go. I'm just sad that they missed top 10 because of all the problems.

We can't expect anything seeing that everything was recalled.

That could very well happen unless people buy the original release.

I think that BBC show will be the last bit of promo this year. It's crucial that they do that as soon as possible to give the album a kick. At least it's gone past 500k though. So a silver lining nonetheless

As feared by many, big drop to number 62 for the album.

Oh dear. That's pretty much a disaster. I guess sales must be minuscule to be that low down in the chart. I've mentioned my puzzlement before regarding sales. How can 500,000 attend their tour only a matter of months ago, yet so few show interest in their new songs/ DVD? It really doesn't make any sense to me.

The Christmas market is a lucrative one and sales are always higher this time of year. However, aside from Adele sales do appear to be surprisingly low, although I imagine some kind of resurgence in the next two weeks as people buy last minute presents. TT seem to have slipped under the radar promotion wise. I haven't seen any adverts for the DVD but I understand there is one floating around. The documentary should have been scheduled for now or next week rather than over the Christmas period. Perhaps they didn't have much say in the scheduling but I'm sure they could have put pressure on the TV company to show it sooner.

It will be probably their most low key release, but the dvd withdrawal is a huge part of this weeks plummet down the charts.

The re-release is almost a disaster. I use the word almost due to the decent sales it achieved last week. That factor left out, everything else is gone doolally. It will be interesting to see how the album performs when it is re-stocked and available next week.

So to confirm, will it definitely be back in stock next week?

I believe i did read it would be back in stock on the 4th. I dont know if this is confirmed.
