Sorry, Milly , it does seem the time is that late. However, it will be on the IPlayer service, which I know isn't ideal but better than nothing. The time is disappointing but at least some people will stay up and watch it. They may show it again at a different time so it could be on again in the holiday period during the day time or earlier in the evening - trying to be positive. :)

Nah, don't worry, I've stayed up till 7-8 a.m for Gary before, I'll manage to stay awake till 2 a.m this time :) Besides, thankfully, Filmon allows us to record the shows and download them, so that's taken care of as well. It was more complicated with the iPlayer before, cause I needed the expat shield to watch it, but now, with Hola, it's easier. Living outside UK does have its perks in these matters - you suddenly develop a knowledge of illegal streams and downloads that you didn't possess before :P

Crikey, Milly what a dedicated fan! As long as it's no later I'll stay up and watch but have work the following day so I'd never manage to stay up past 12. Hope it's good and I'd like to hear one of the new songs performed on the show.

 

I've a suspicion that Gary may also have something lined up for The Girls Musical.

Its not the ideal time slot, 8 or 8.30 would have been brill but like many things from this era its just not working out the right way. Either way the album should pick up from sales for it. I hope three makes a top 40 return this week.

Hopefully it'll be repeated. Can't see many people staying up on a Tuesday night to watch it who aren't already owners of the record.

I think it's my years and years of university practice in staying awake - either studying for exams or just being kept awake by my roommates :))

 

I'd love for Gary to do something The Girls related for the television. The album is almost a certainty, but I'd like to see a documentary about how a musical is developed until it hits the stage.

 

As for the BBC1 show - it's winter, people don't go out as much as they do during summer and 22:30 is not that late. Hopefully, the show will have a big enough of an audience to make an impact, but, like Aphrodite pointed out, it's just one more thing that hasn't worked out as it should have this era. Of course, TT or the label can't control when the show is aired, but, at this point, it almost seems like an universal conspiracy for things to go not exactly right. Maybe it's just one of those stages that any artist goes through and the boys will come back with stronger material and a larger fanbase next year.

 

PS: Do you have to work on the 23rd? Don't you have Christmas holiday?

I've offered to cover some of the Christmas week but the 23rd will be my last working day as we've been given the 24th off as an additional bank holiday. So I will have 5 days off. I just about remember those university day, Milly. I once stayed awake for two whole days, went to lectures , completed course work and was still able to string a sentence together at the end of it.

 

Now, if I'm not in bed at a certain time, the next morning I shuffle around not knowing what day it is - oh, to be young again.:)

Haha so do I! I'd be my most productive at 1am, then up for lectures at 9am!

 

Luckily the 22nd is my last day, so I'll definitely be watching it. I'm actually going to Australia and New Zealand for 3ish weeks just after Xmas, so apologies in advance for my absence on here!

I don't stay up as late as I used to during university or as often and, when I do, I don't particularly enjoy it, but those years of practice make it easier to do it when need be. And, where Gary is concerned, there is need :P I still don't know how I made it through those exams periods with barely no sleep - 18 exams in 14 days sure took care of the no sleep part :D

What I wouldn't give to re-live those days now!!

 

It's good that you guys get a Christmas holiday, even if you do have to work till the last minute.

#44 in the midweeks. I was hoping III would be higher than that this week.

I was hoping for higher too but thankfully its climbing. It would be great if it can manage to get back into the top 40 this week.

Maybe the stores haven't re-stocked yet? Usually their physical sales are pretty good.

I would have expected more for this week, but like as you said, maybe not all the shops are re-stocked.

Frustrating. I thought it would be higher than that...

Im starting to give up on the era now. It is not going to plan at all so it seems.

Three has managed to get back in to the top 40 this week, just about though at number 40.

#40 this week. Let's hope it keeps climbing.

Must say, I'm delighted it's crept into the top 40 again. Next week will be interesting.
