Looks like the album picked up another 10-12k last week. So we are around 530k ish
Maybe the 2016 gigs will help it sell a bit more. I think it will get to double platinum eventually, it's just gonna take a bit longer than anticipated.

The documentary is on at a good time on New Years Eve - so it will be interesting to see if that bumps up sales. Realistically sales tail off considerably in the new year, so I think this week will be the last time for any significant improvement.

I would have taken a punt and released WYBTFM as a single in January. A basic video filmed in a recording studio similar to RTW would suffice. There wouldn't be any promo as Howard's will be paternity leave but at least the song would be heard by the wider public, assuming of course it gets radio play.

Each time you mention WYBTFM, Dylandog, you get my hopes up. I ADORE that song so much I made it my ringtone instead of RTW. For me, it's the best song they did since BFG.

Single or no single, I'd love for it to have a video and be sent to radios. I just want people out there to hear it, that's all. I don't care whether it charts or not.

I'd love for the video to be an actual live recording - just them with the band, in a studio, singing live this song. That would make a lot of fans happy. At least if they were never to perform it on any show, we'd have an official video and a live performance 2 in 1.

Milly, I absolutely adore the song and it's fast becoming one of my all time favourites, up there with RTW. It doesn't need a fancy video, in fact , the simpler the better. I keep hoping it will be released but if I'm honest I very much doubt it. If it's not released all I can hope for is that they sing it live on tour.

Unfortunately, they're a little tentative when it comes to singing new material and that's an area of their work I often criticize them for. Whilst they experiment musical they tend to keep to their staple of hits when touring. I think they sometimes underestimate their audience. I for one would have been more than happy if they'd sung some of their great B sides live and dropped a couple of their more well established songs.

Carry me Home is what i would choose as a next single, its ever so catchy and i love it, best song from this era apart from the wonderful These Days. I really am not getting all the fuss for Will You Be There For Me, it doesn't do it at all for me.

I love the simplicity of the verses in WYBTFM and Gary's lower range is wonderful, as are the harmonies and guitar sections. Lyrically it's fantastic and for me it's one of the strongest songs they've released to date. It just shows how special TT are in terms of versatility: ballads, mid tempo, up beat, so there's something for everyone.

What I can say about CMH is the fantastic homage to the Bee Gees towards the end - brilliant. It takes me back to one of their documentary ( not sure if its' the Abbey Road session ) when they sing a snippet of a song in the style of the BG - I think they refer to it as the Gee Bees. Lovely to see all four of them so happy and relaxed. :)

The same for me when it comes to WYBTFM. It's just so raw and simple it's stunning. I'm not as fond of CMH because I can still hear that electronic distorted sound that I don't like. On WYBTFM, Gary's voice sounds so clear and is so beautiful on the lower register and the lyrics and melody are sweet and genuine.

I'm just afraid it will have the same fate as Don't Say Goodbye and I'll never get to hear it live :(

I dont like WYBTFM at all  . In a way its my own fault  , i didn't listen to the new songs or watch the dvd until Christmas, something to look forward to as a treat!, i love the dvd. But like many times before i had read and heard so much about WYBTFM and i got excited for want of a better word. I was really looking forward to hearing it and when i did i was oh no, i dont like this, i find it dull if im honest. Like Pippa i love Carry me home. I think for me i had heard far less about this song so it surprised when i heard it, i find it very uplifting, how they decided hey boy over it as a single i do not know (very bad decision)

Referring back to WYBTFM, this has happened to me on a few occasions, i remember the same thing with Kylie;s aphrodite album, Get Outta My Way was the song everyone was on about it so i was so looking forward to hearing it and when i did i was like this is not as good as people say. Likewise with the film The Hangover, heard how brilliantly funny it was and when i watched it i was left bitterly disappointed. Note to myself, do not get carried away with other peoples opinions on songs until i hear them first.

In time i will be listening to the three album and WYBTFM could come on and i could realise how did i not like this when i heard it, its brilliant, this happened to me with Pray, i hated it for a long time and then one day it clicked with me and i still like it.

WYBTFM is quite simply beautiful, how can you not like it? :) Music is so subjective but for me the song represents the best elements of TT - a well crafted ballad, strong lyrically, pure locals and harmonies and some lovely orchestration.

I do agree with regard to HB - any of the new songs would have been a better choice. HB evokes very strong emotions from TT fans and it's evident that many dislike the song and casual fans have been very out spoken and negative about it. I may have to cover my ears when they sing it at Hyde Park - because I doubt they'll leave it off the set list.

I like WYBTFM but certainly don't love it, it's a good album track but that's it (would be a middling album track on Beautiful World) and I certainly wouldn't lose sleep over never hearing it live or seeing it as a single release. But then none of the four new songs are single worthy imo - though all are varying levels of enjoyable to me. I wish they'd had something truly killer, and a properly functioning DVD, for this re-release.

They needed something killer on the re-release and i dont think they nailed that. Overall the Three new edition was a complete mess up. I think the Greatest Hits package is whats coming next so i look forward to seeing what sound they go with on what im sure will be at least 2 added new tracks. I hope they can come up with a killer lead single to start the next campaign off whether its the Greatest Hits or not.

I do think the next new material we get is crucial for them if they are continue having successful album sales. Tour wise they will always do well, i dont think Take That are in any way finished but they need to comeback with strong material next time or album sales will decline yet again.

Oh, you guys  WYBTfM is a masterpiece  You need a therapy session:D Play all year long the song and you'll eventually fall in love with it :D

On one thing we can all agree: Hey Boy was the wrong single choice. Oh Boy would have been a better title :P

Happy New Year to all of you and may the new year fulfill all your wishes!

Im not sure would it have made much difference what single was released as i dont think it would be destined for a big hit. So many things about the Three era that simply did not go to plan

Happy New Year to you Milly, hope its full of everything you want!

I was going to say the same thing, I don't think it would have mattered that much which of the new songs they had released as a single. I can't see any of them being a big hit with the public audience. I also have to disappoint Milly and dylandog, WYBTFM is leaving me rather cold and I can't hear the same magic as you do :) Hey Boy, on the other hand is a brilliant song - just kidding! :D But I don't hate it and can actually enjoy it. For me it's not a song to take so seriously, it's just a fun up-beat song made with a bit of humor, the same with the video for it.

According to recent interviews they are planning to release new music already in 2016 as well as a Greatest Hits album in 2017. Let's see in what direction they are taking us next :)

Wishing all of you a Happy New Year!
