Great to see 'Pompeii' getting a new peak.

Also, 'Chocolate' top 90 :cheer: and 'Explosions' scraping it in there to give Ellie a third hit from Halcyon.

Large but expected drop for Little Mix in the albums though.

Edited by noahspike

'Explosions' making the Hot 100 :o Wasn't aware it was even being pushed as a single (or is it not?)

Hooray for more new peaks for Bastille, John Newman and The 1975 also. And Sam Smith getting that double bubble (this is a phrase now) *.*

Looks like AWOLNATION will surpass the previous Hot 100 longevity record after all (though will remain 2nd on that list due to 'Radioactive' also still being in the chart).

'Explosions' is currently non-existent on airplay so I think it just got a random promo boost. Would love for it to be pushed and do well though

So glad to see updated sales for Born to Die, can't wait for it to cross 1 million!

'Explosions' is being used in ads for the film 'Endless Love' which explains its boost.

It first got in the charts in the UK due to an advert as well iirc.

Very pleased that Bastille now seem to be onto a genuine hit with Pompeii and delighted one of Ellie's best has broken the Hot 100 too. Also, impressed with Story of My Life's longevity as well; after What Makes You Beautiful its probably One Directions biggest hit their know

Say what you want about how contrived the award was, One Direction are the most successful British act overseas at the moment

And The 1975 too! I doubt Chocolate will be a massive hit but just seeing them on the Hot 100 is good enough for me

Edited by James Silkstone

Martin Garrix top 40 :cheer: Great to see Avicii's Hey Brother climbing too, should take away his 1HW status in America. Hopefully Disclosure and Naughty Boy can go top 100 soon, good to see them bubblin' under.

Avicii arguably already isn't a one hit wonder anyway, 'Levels' reached #60 on the Hot 100 which admittedly isn't a great peak but it did have the full 20 weeks allowed on the chart for a non top 50 hit so it was clearly very popular. 'You Make Me' is also a Hot 100 hit (#85). I suppose it depends what you count as a one hit wonder though.

I didn't mean his technical 1HW status (I knew Levels and You Make Me made small splashes in the chart), I meant that as in what the general public will remember him for. (for example in the UK, Eiffel 65 are technically not 1HWs but people only remember 'Blue') Either way Avicii is no longer a 1HW as 'Hey Brother' looks likely to go top 20 for him.

I'm just so happy Naughty Boy's finally cracking the US. I hope this is as big a hit in the US as it's been in the rest of the world!
Anyone know how much Demi's Neon Lights has now sold in total?
Based on estaminations it should be somewhere between 320 and 350k according to atrl
