Oh PHEW! Was so scared then. Going through and leaving Florina behind though :/

Aside, but this DOT thing in the opening post has made this all so riveting to follow, Bra <3

I had confirmed Steed Lord's 'Bed Of Needles' a couple of years ago but then changed. Such a great group!
I will just keep listening to 'Natural' into you reveal me through. So it's fine if you prolong it, as I'm more than happy to have this on repeat.
Tinnmark unfortunately claim another DNQ and therefore overtake Kylienips as the country with the most (26 times, including a heartbreaking 13 of their last 15 entries, rivalling Singerpurear's record if it weren't for the rather out of place 5th place finish amidst those DNQs).[/font]

26! I can see Ive got quite a way to go yet, and here I was thinking I must be nearing the record. Poor Tinnmark. I think I'll qualify next time for a change. Got a Scandinavian pop dance diva track with just a twist of sad EDM lined up.

Oh I kid of course, that'll never happen

The thirteenth QUALIFIER from semifinal 1 is...

Leww will be breathing a sigh of relief now as his ridiculous self-doubt is confirmed to be totally unfounded. He certainly won't be 'Jaded' at the announcement that London electronic duo Toyboy & Robin are safely through to the final, securing Aeroche their 9th consecutive qualification. Toyboy & Robin haven't been entered before but someone called just 'Robin' has, the presumably unrelated artist behind Land of Jack's XLIII DNQ 'Frontside Ollie'.

New York indie pop singer Ingrid Michaelson makes the final again for Ingermanlandia, having previously represented the nation in XLVI, finishing 16th with 'In The Sea'. Prior to that Michaelson came 17th for Herzebania in XXIX with 'Everybody'. She'll certainly be hoping to 'Chase' a better final position this month, not only for herself but also for Ingermanlandia who got last month's wooden spoon which they certainly won't want to repeat. It's 2 finals in a row for the nation nonetheless.

ed thomas was rubbish (sorry rabbit heart) so i'm not surprised.

happy for steed lord! silly person who thought it might dnq.

I predicted on like the night the semis went up! Would have probably predicted it through later.

edit: YAY INGER!

:cheer: for Ingermanlandia :D

2 more wonderful q's!

I've been meaning to check out their first EP for a while. I hear from a trusted source it's quite different to this new sound but excited nonetheless.

Phew! :D But Persephonia clearly doesn't like Ingermanlandia this contest leaving them until that late!

The fourteenth QUALIFIER from semifinal 1 is...

Parisian act backt mariah (no relation to Carey) managed not to 'DIE' in the semifinal and progress into the grand final for N DNTN, their third final in a row in their current streak. They've never been sent to BJSC before, unsurprisingly given they're one of the contest's most obscure acts with just 205 likes on their Facebook page, though their sort-of namesake Mariah Carey has been sent three times. I'm not going to go into detail about that and taint the commentary on a fabulous song.

AQUAFINA vs. CADELICIA for the final slot in semifinal 1.

Séyetana 'Shoot' into the final with what they claim is a fairly cheap entry to people who know about the YouTube rock subgenre of 'nightcore' (essentially a style of chipmunking that for some reason is also associated with anime girls). Anyone? Didn't think so. The Cab, a pop rock band from Las Vegas, are yet another introduction to BJSC in a largely very inspired final. In their last 14 entries Séyetana have alternated almost perfectly between qualifying and not qualifying, the streak only ruined by back-to-back DNQs on the 4th and 5th of those entries.

HENDINIA vs. KATHALDAZIA for the final slot in semifinal 2.

YAY for Séyetana :cheer:
