Obviously this contest is first and foremost about the music (hence the 'S' in 'BJSC') but I can't help but think a great video can really improve a song. I think the video really complements the music and adds to the EXPERIENCE of my last 2 entries, especially my current one so you should all watch it if you haven't already but I'm not gonna be a super narcissist, here are a few of my faves from the last few contests (simply because my memory is not very good so I'm hoping others can remind me of older great videos):

:wub: indeed - it was the video that was my main inspiration to send it. Alas, the song itself would probably sound like typical landfill pop-rock to those not watching it.

I love watching music videos in BJSC. Part of the reason I don't tend to use MP3's is that the video can really add to the song, and I'd hate to miss that out.

 

 

This is probably my all time favourite. Tough to watch indeed, but I feel it really gives the song heightened power and meaning.

While I do mostly make use of the mp3s I do watch the videos sometimes... and the ones tend to get stuck in my mind are normally the K-Pop ones.

That's aside from loads of those already mentioned, moan's video is so beautiful and probably the best one I can think of.

 

If I were to big up the videos of my own entries, as I'm very familiar with all of them, I'd say these two have the best vids:

Civ 4 is an INCREDIBLE game. I keep revisiting it and find myself wasting 2-3 days of my life on an annual basis oops. I'd have watched the video more if it weren't for me being so eager to actually play it.

I've never been any good at it, I always just end up building the prettiest things, going for building a huge cultural/techy empire and completely neglect my military, leading to a steamrollering as soon as some nasty Huns or something show up, but I still enjoyed playing it hugely. The video has just inspired me to to try find it again. Which won't be good for my course if I do find it.
