March 10, 201411 yr Oh don't get me wrong Rochelle is good/has improved( and overrated at the sametime), but at the same time while Vanessa is on scene I really don't think Rochelle would be considered best vocalist. Just my opinion really!
March 10, 201411 yr Oh and Rochelle fails at the spoon Not Giving Up Challenge whereas Vanessa triumphed ;)
March 10, 201411 yr Rochelle got a lot of power and lot of confidence, but she does seem to go off-key a lot of times (especially nowadays) and I blame the fact that she always wants to shine. Less power and more control of your voice would be great in my opinion. There's no need to sound loud and powerful when it's not the right time. I'm all for some diva vocals because she can pull them off, but just when it's right, you know? And she just doesn't seem to know and it goes off-key a lot of times. Vanessa got a lot of power, no confidence, but she has a better control of her key-singing. Still, she had a few off-key notes recently, for example when she tried to cover for what would have been Frankie's harmonies on the Leave A Light On acoustic performance. But then, again, I blame the fact they were probably supposed to be Frankie's. And well, every note she turns into a falsetto I suppose. I would say that in general, Frankie and Mollie are usually the ones that sing on-key because most of the time (but not always!) they got the easier parts to sing, but also I don't believe they want to impress anyone. Plus they are more the kind of person to sing quite quietly which leads to be on-key usually. (Una is not on the same ground because her feline register is so weird. Like she will either sound good or bad and I think it's based on the song itself more than on the key. Anyway lol )
March 10, 201411 yr Author Frankie and Mollie get playback or mime a lot though tbf. At least the other three sing live all the time! Edited March 10, 201411 yr by APRIL J
March 10, 201411 yr Do Mollie and Frankie sing live nowadays? I thought they mimed almost all of the time
March 14, 201411 yr Author Sweat the small stuff has been renewed and Rochelle is staying on board :) :cheer: She's the best thing about the show! I wish she'd get a higher profile TV show, she's so funny and the public needs to see it!
March 15, 201411 yr Author 1xKmvqYYr7I This girl! :cheer: Raving about Beyonce, quoting Rihanna's "Birthday Cake" and being generally fabulous!
March 21, 201411 yr Author Happy Birthday to the Queen of this world! :cheer: May she forever reign! This is one of Rochelle's best ever moments, to celebrate! aQ3OUJyCnp4 (skip to 2:18 onwards) "Example don't touch him with YOUR hands"...The other girls could never!
March 21, 201411 yr Love her banter with Example! My favorite quotes to ever come from her were the ones regarding the Dolly Rockers though  EDIT: She's giving me crazy/addict vibes in that flip. Edited March 21, 201411 yr by LoveKiller
March 21, 201411 yr http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_llenvpkUAo1qh3qcmo1_500.gif What were the quotes with Dolly Rockers :o
March 21, 201411 yr The Saturdays have continued their war of words with rival girlband Dolly Rockers. In June, the Rockers claimed that the 'Issues' stars "could have been five completely different girls and nobody would have given a s**t". Responding to the jibe in an interview with Take 5, Rochelle Wiseman commented: "Well they could be any three girls because I don't even know who the hell they are." The singer also suggested that The Saturdays will have the edge in future chart battles with the Rockers and other new girl groups like Bubbel G and Girls Can't Catch. She claimed: "We are the only good one! I like Girls Can't Catch, though. They're nice girls."
March 21, 201411 yr Rochelle Wiseman branded the new group "chavs" after they claimed that the 'Issues' singers "could have been five completely different girls and nobody would have given a s**t". "Dolly Trotters-aka CHAVS, don't like us but use us for the press...wow...times are hard!" Wiseman told followers on Twitter. "Anyway must dash, have a sold out tour to prepare for!" she added.
March 21, 201411 yr Don't forget this one! I love how she attacks Una for having a different opinion: The Saturdays have extended their condolences to the Dolly Rockers, who have reportedly been dropped by their record label EMI. The Wordshaker group were previously involved in a public spat with the three-piece and joked that the music industry would not be the same anymore. "Haha... oh what a shame!" Rochelle Wiseman told DS. "That's really bad and I'm sure there are loads of fans out there who are going to be really sad about it!" "We wish them well in whatever they end up doing now. It's a hard business to succeed in, so good luck to them," Vanessa White said. Singer Una Healy claimed that some comments might have been taken out of context, saying: "I'm not defending them, but I don't know how much of what was reported was actually said by them..." However, Wiseman insisted: "No, you can't say they didn't say it, because they later apologized to us! You can't apologize about something if you didn't say it." The Saturdays branded the trio "chavs" after they claimed that the 'Issues' singers "could have been five completely different girls and nobody would have given a s**t".
March 21, 201411 yr Mollie had a go at it too but she remained classy, obviously! :P It was a tweet, can't find it though.
