Despite the controversy it peaked at #1 in France while also reaching the top 10 in Flanders, Wallonia, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Italy, Switzerland and Luxembourg. It peaked at #54 in the UK and #59 in the US.

Such a shame. Buzzjack is lacking taste right here. Shut Up And Drive is one of Rihanna's best and therefor deserved at least top 15. But Buzzjack decided and I will have to deal (forever hating Cameron tho)

 

The song was RiRi's second single from Good Girl Gone Bad. The song received with mixed reviews with some calling it a sassier version of Aretha Franklin's Freeway Of Love and Micheal Jackson's Speed Demon.

 

Shut Up And Drive was a commercial succes, peaking in the top 10 in Australia, Hungary, Ireland, the UK, Canada, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Slovakia and Flanders.
