18/11/2002 Will Young Don't Let Me Down/You And I 2 {2}-9-16-27-33-26-32-44-61-71-73R(5)-74-75->13 wks

Total Sales: 200,000 (with thanks to Andy At Haven

Silver Certification (Single) 13 December 2002 :silver:

The 4th single taken from Will's debut album and the only one issued after it's release. This was the first of Will's singles not to top the charts, missing out to Christina Aguilera's Dirty. Don't Let Me Down was also the 2002 CIN single.

Yes this was and still is one of my favourite Will songs, I remember Will saying that he got beat to number one by Christine Aguilera wearing a couple of rubber bands and not much else in her video! :lol: I loved Get Dirrrty though.

Here's the vid, You & I. :heart:

Video for Don't Let me Down

Shame I've never really liked this song, as it was Will's first self penned single.

acoustic from Capital Christmas

I didn't like the acoustic but loved the single.

Its strange how we differ I've never liked Y&I :)

Be boring if we all liked the same things :)

Much prefer Y&I to WAI which I find a bit dreary :D

Thanks for the cd covers Avis. Those were the days when you could buy hard disc singles. Remember making regular trips to HMV to see how Will was selling. :lol:

Agree about the live performances of You & I being far superior to the recorded version. Here's the POP performance Jacqui referred to

The hair straighteners were definitely well used in those early days. :lol:

Another If That's What You Want fan here! :cheer:
Full House for "If that's what you want" :cheer: :wub:

Can you imagine it live? :w00t:

Don't think I'd survive the experience :o :lol:
