Chicago-bred EDM trio Krewella has released their latest music video for new single “Enjoy the Ride” exclusively on VEVO. “Enjoy the Ride” is a contagious track off their debut studio album GET WET , which was released in September 2013 and debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200 album chart and #1 on the Electronic Album chart. The previously posted lyric video for the song has already surpassed 1 million views on YouTube, and the single was also used in Bud Light’s Super Bowl ‘#upforwhatever’ campaign, whose ad spot has nearly 4 million views to date. Additionally, Krewella performed the song on FOX’s New Year’s Eve Live! along with hit singles “Live for the Night” and the platinum certified “Alive.” A special “Enjoy the Ride” remix bundle will be available at all DSPs on Tuesday, March 11. The bundle features killer mixes from Grammy-nominated producer and DJ, Armin van Buuren, and the talented Dutch duo known as Vicetone. The new mixes take the single to new heights as both artists put their signature sounds to work on the song. This spring, Krewella is hitting the road for a slew of festivals and headline dates. After headlining at Ultra Music Festival in Miami on March 29, Krewella will embark on the VERGE campus spring tour, launching April 8 and playing through May 10. The run also includes festival stops at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and CounterPoint Music Festival.

Amazing song and one of my favourites from the album! I think it's probably the most radio-friendly song too so hopefully this can be a success on the Hot 100 like 'Alive' was.

In Krewella’s New ‘Enjoy The Ride’ Video, Children Find Salvation Through The Magic Of EDM

http://buzzworthy.mtv.com//wp-content/uploads/buzz/2014/03/krewella-enjoy-the-ride-video.jpg

As die-hard pop fanatics, we’ve always appreciated how seriously Krewella take their fist-pumping dance jams. (Remember all the tears shed in their “Human” video? Gah! The feels.) The EDM trio’s new video for “Enjoy The Ride” continues this trend, telling a story about liberating people with a little help from their friends, untz and untz.

The clip for the Get Wet track cuts between Krewella’s Yasmine, Jahan, and Rain Man chilling in a forest, and a young girl confined to a circus sideshow. You see, she’s blessed with the ability to dance at superhuman levels, emitting a dull, blurred light as she moves her limbs. (FTR, we can’t do that. We just tried.)

Luckily, she is rescued from her cage by a young boy in the audience, who was himself freed from some kind of neck collar only seconds before. There’s an interesting idea in there about everyone being confined to some sort of prison even in an unbalanced power dynamic, but it’s kinda hard to ponder deep sh** when the dance floor’s calling your name.

The two young’uns escape into the woods, soon emerging in a clearing where one of our favorite Breakthrough Bands of 2013 are hosting a total “Fern Gully” rager. The video ends on a bittersweet note, though, one that we don’t want to spoil for you (Hint: Google “St. Elsewhere” or Season 9 of “Dallas.”), so just enjoy the ride while you can.

Krewella – Enjoy The Ride

[The Remixes]

by Ahmed Baki on March 3, 2014

Krewella released the remixes EP for their single “Enjoy The Ride,” featuring two remixes — one by the trance legend himself, Armin Van Buuren, and the other by the beastly duo Vicetone. It’s always nice when two worlds collide like in the case of Armin’s remix; it lets you look at a certain style from a different perspective and promotes originality and musical diversity. Being a huge trance and bass music fan myself, Armin’s remix is simply pure gold in my eyes; pure, unadulterated gold. He really manages to set the classic trance to progressive ratio just right and makes it all work incredibly well with Krewella’s awesome vocals. It’s truly a heavenly pairing. Vicetone’s remix has quite a few sub-genres mixed in there with influences from the current “big room” progressive house craze and the classic electro house scene coupled with some groovy vibes derived from classic house, making for a pretty diverse formula. While it’s not particularly my style, I can still appreciate the production quality and diversity - awesome remix.

The music video is as immense as ever and not that the original masterpiece needed any remixing but DEADNEY @ both Armin and Vicetone's remixes. KREWELLA LOVE PLZ BUZZJACK.

I gave the album a listen today and it's surprisingly diverse!

The only two songs I was familiar with were 'Alive' and 'Live For The Night' (and 'Legacy', but that doesn't count), as much as I like those two songs they're both ultra generic so I was expecting an album of pretty much the same... but I was wrong!

Good stuff.
