BILLBOARD: 'SNL' Books Pharrell, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith

March 19, 2014 3:47 PM EDT

From Billboard via Hollywood Reporter:

The relevant bits pertaining to the Brits:

"Saturday Night Live has set its next hosts and musical guests. Seth Rogen, touting his R-rated comedy Neighbors, returns for the third time to the Studio 8H stage on April 12. The musical guest for that episode will be British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, making his SNL debut. Sheeran will debut the first single from his sophomore LP, slated for a summer release. It was previously announced that Louis C.K. would lead the March 29 episode. He will be joined by musical guest Sam Smith, whose debut album In the Lonely Hour hits stores June 17."

What do you think Sam Smith is likely to perform? He has three obvious options though I don't know if "Money On My Mind" is out in the US or if they want to push it (yet). So a chance that he just does the two features over his own track? "Latch" could use the promo tbh so I am hoping that is one of the two performances..

This is great promo for Sam Smith, especially as his album hasn't dropped yet, although it is available for pre-order on US iTunes and there's a Nirvana EP with 7 tracks.

Well I certainly hope he does 'Latch'! I think that'd do him quite a bit of good to be honest. That and 'Money on My Mind' would be my choices.

'Money on My Mind' and an acoustic version of Latch are available on the Nirvana EP.
