I don't think Missing You is as bad as everyone makes it out to be but if Higher had been the lead it would have ruined the summery element Missing You had in the video! (don't get me wrong I love Higher!)

Mine goes:

1. Forever Is Over

2. Up

3. My Heart Takes Over

4. Missing You

5. Disco Love

Disco Love hasn't been released long enough to make an actual dent to be honest, I'd be able to rank their newest songs by September (lol).

I strongly dislike 'Missing You' as a song, but I can't deny the fact that it went to #1 on airplay, sold like 215-220k and was a top 3 hit that helped sell Headlines! It's evil, but it was evil that was good for them...if that makes sense ha.

How is it evil?

I think missing you is awful. For a song that went 1-1-3 on airplay, its chart run and sales are very underwhelming (Though I know 200k would be good for the Saturdays these days). If was basically being jammed down everyone's throats and still couldn't sell that well.

Imagine they had gotten that airplay for one of their more popular songs. #gold.

I looooove Missing You. It's a great summer song, I just get late Summer vibes from it

It's shit.

Not as shit (forgive language) as Don't Let Me Dance Alone!

+1

Will never understand the hate. I understand the hate for Gentleman, 30 Days, My Heart Takes Over because they're such polarizing songs, but Missing You is one of the least offensive tracks they've released.

No one hated 'My Heart Takes Over' before it flopped. Granted no one thought it was freaking amazing either, but I've never read a bad comment about it. Then it flopped and somehow became a shame for the fans.

'30 Days' was always on the middle ground too. "It's decent, but it's no Faster/Get Ready Get Set" was what you will always read. "It's nice, but it's a bit weak for a first single. But their first single are always weaker than their 2nd. Bring the second single!" etc etc.

As for 'Gentleman', that was polarizing. You had people who actually loved it a lot and others who hated it a lot. I don't even think there was
a middle ground
. Polarizing, my friends.

Imagine if they had that airplay for What About Us and NGU :o :( #actuallymakesmesad :(

I still don't hate MHTO and I really still don't understand how it flopped :( :snif:

:o Take that back young man *slap slap*

I think back then they were peaking, were fresh and weren't old news so was easier to get airplay I guess :P

Defo' not!

Headlines > Chasing Lights > On Your Radar > Living For The Weekend > Wordshaker > THEN Anywhere With You & Don't Let Me Dance Alone (and I think it's quite obvious how much of a non fan of Wordshaker I am from the song rate a few months ago)

I guess people heard it enough on a daily basis for FREE therefore why would they need to buy it?
