It's happening...?

Featuring 8 brand new tracks, and produced by Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate and John McClain.

Here's hoping it's full of dignity and respect for the king. I'm not sure at this point.

Oh stop being so NEGATIVE

Sigh :(

I wish they would respect him as an artist and not release music that he never intended to release. We've got so much music that he wanted us to hear, there is no need for sub-par songs.

Seriously. So excited. Don't mention MJ much here but he is truly an icon to music lovers, what a legend.

And to be honest, he's not exactly aware of this going on so I don't mind as long as we get new Jacko.

It would be fair if all of the released stuff was free - but now it's a cynical cash-in for the record company. Shame on the alive artists involved in this.
Akon's career never reached the same heights again after Hold My Hand.

Oh stop being so NEGATIVE

Not sure what this was in relation to...

I'm one of the biggest/most positive MJ supporters going. He embodies everything I love about music. I want to listen to his music that he created and perfected before releasing, not what the record companies want us to hear. But if we're getting this, then I hope it's made with the same adoration that Michael would've given it.

I'm still intrigued by it and to just hear his voice on new material will be rewarding but as Rabbit Heart says he has a mammoth back catalogue already, so it's not needed.

And a bit more positivity, LOVE the album cover.

There could be a song with Jesse Johnson and Eric Leeds on there which is produced by D'Angelo with Mary J Blige.

Can't believe they're putting all the tracks on there 2 times (finished and demo) and Love Never Felt So Good 3 (!) times, from which one is a JT collab :drama:

^ there was apparently an unauthorized remix with Bieber last year, but this version doesn't contain him.

And it's now available to listen to: 'Slave to the Rhythm'

This album is turning into a very solid one going on this trio of songs so far, who knew? :o

Album is out there and very decent. Obviously doesn't hold a candle anywhere close to any of the original studio albums but as a tribute to some of his lost works it is very admirable. It's also nice to have the original versions of the songs included too as further tribute to what he created.

We can now pretend 'Michael' never happened and treat this as his first posthumous release.

Really good album, I like a lot of the original versions on the album tbh.
