May 14, 201411 yr That was 2 years ago. I was say Notorious was only MAX 10k away from silver, but could be a lot closer for all we know. Forever Is Over is probably about 10k off silver too. By the end of the year What About Us will be Gold and Notorious and Forever is Over will probably be silver. and the new single, if it is playlist and is a hit, will probably go at least silver too. :w00t:
November 25, 20159 yr Author It's funny how 'Not Giving Up' with limited promotion, no television / radio airplay has much stronger views on Youtube than 'Disco Love' which was played a fair amount by Radio 1. 'Not Giving Up' should have been released following 'What About Us' or even instead of 'Disco Love'. I'm positive that 'Not Giving Up' would have smashed much more and put them into a better position, the demand was there for it, it's just a shame the general public never really heard it. Youtube Views from Living For The Weekend What About Us (Combined) 32,000,000+ Not Giving Up 5,618,058 Disco Love 5,171,594 30 Days 3,758,602 Gentleman 3,730,560 Awful considering 'Gentleman' opened with 1m views in less than a week, goes to show had 'Not Giving Up' been single 2 it could have been much more successful. November 25, 20159 yr Radio 1 weren't there for 'Not Giving Up', but were there for 'Disco Love' so I would have never released ANYTHING instead of 'Disco Love'. 'Gentleman', now that's another debate.
November 26, 20159 yr I think Not Giving Up has garnered more views for a few different reasons: -I've seen it listed as a related video on some pretty popular videos by other artists, whereas I've only seen Disco Love shown as a related video on other Sats videos -There are a bunch of random personal chart videos out there that actually get a solid amount of views and Not Giving Up did well on a lot of them -NGU was played on radio and TV stations in Malaysia, Singapore, India, and Mexico to name a few and even reached the Top 3 on some of those stations' playlists -When you search for "The Saturdays" it was the first song to come up for the longest time and is now only below What About Us -Chasing The Saturdays reruns probably help as well since the song was featured -The still for the video (them lined up holding the lights) makes it look very cool which probably generates more views from people who have never seen the video or heard of them Although Disco Love should still have way more views based off how it performed in the UK alone. So I find it mind blowing as well. Edited November 26, 20159 yr by (Zach)
