September 3, 200618 yr I haven't even got round to seeing Spiderman 2 yet. :o but I wanna go see Spidy 3. Shrek 3 and Pirates 3 also are films that i'm most looking to see. I ain't really looking forward to the new Harry Potter though. The 4th one was a real let down for me due to how much they missed out of the book and I can't imagine how much there gonna miss out of this one. :arrr: Plus the like biggest moment of the book won't have much impact to people who haven't read the book and just watch the films as the charchter was majorly under used in the 4th film IMO. -_-

So fukk if the film would have to last maybe over three hours to do the book justice, sod it, people didn't mind sitting down for over three hours to watch the "Lord of the Rings" films did they...?

Precisley. -_- I think I read somewere that the quidditchs bit have been cut out for the next film. :o You're totally right in the fact abput the opening bit for the last film as it was pretty awful and good of been a lot better. I see were you're coming from with Lord Of The Rings but I found them a bit too long well especially the thrid one which dragged on for an extra hour than it should have IMO. -_-

The films lasted as long as they had to really... I liked "Return of the King" a lot, if you watch the extended DVD edition you might get a bit more out of it, as it kinda fleshes things out a bit more, and all Christopher Lee's scenes (which were missing in the cinema version) are all put back for the extended edition as well....

No I didn't read the books. -_- I didn't have the patience TBH. The fiest and second ones kept me intrested but it was the third one that I thought was too long. Maybe it was just the fact that I was expecting the film to end to two occasions and it never did. -_-
September 4, 200618 yr Maybe it was just the fact that I was expecting the film to end to two occasions and it never did. -_- Yeah, it does kinda do that really  , but it's like, you know, such an epic, vast story that to just end it kinda without doing a whole big thing would seem a bit cheap... If you read the books it would all make sense, honestly.... :)
September 4, 200618 yr Spider-man 3 Shrek the Third Pirates of the Caribbean 3 Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix The Simpsons Movie

September 5, 200618 yr I agree with your assessement of "Goblet of Fire", it was a bit of a let-down after the rather fantastic "Prisoner of Azkhaban", particularly disappointing when you consider that Mike Newell is a good director; however it might be said that Alfonso Cuarón is an even better one than Newell? [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2J5dMnIAAk.swf i know it only out in a few weeks, but i think this could be one of te films of the year, already got a good review at the film festival, much much better vibes its getting than the fountain
