April 18, 201411 yr http://school.xvatit.com/images/2/27/Number-1_mate1.jpg My retrospective reached the middle of 1995. I think, that the many Buzzjack posters remember the songs from 1995 and maybe have the interest in my retrospective. I always wanted to know the answer on the question : How predictable were my retro # 1s ? Which # 1 singles were the positive or negative surprises for you ? Which screaming # 1s (based on my music taste) shockingly for you wasn't on the top ? Main links : Official UK Singles Chart thread : http://www.ukmix.org/forums/viewtopic.php?...7&start=475 My Retrospective : http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=146899 You are free to post any your predicts about my future retro # 1s. Maybe it's not very good idea, but why not. September 1995 is a nice period to start, because there are many good contenders on the top of my personal chart. Which singles would be my # 1s in the end of 1995 (After Whigfield with "Close To You") ? Hi Alex, I love the unpredictability of your charts, they fluctuate wildly from the cool, the obscure, and the fun cheesy, or any mixture of big hits and obscure hits. I never would have expected Daniel O'Donnell, though the song is great (check out Doris Day's original), but then you constantly surprise me with what were considered indie acts at the time and you pick out stuff I'd forgotten or missed, so always enjoy your rundowns B-) cheers john
