Yes it's her from that #20 smash Turn My Swag On where she took advantage from the fact that there was no available version on UK iTunes of Keri Hilson's remix of the song that Cher Lloyd made popular when she sang it at her X Factor audition. She's been uploading various covers on Youtube for about 3/4 years featuring her wearing pink with pink headphones and a pink microphone. After many years of trying to get noticed through covers, she's been signed to Universal (where it appears she's been told to tone down the pink) and has unveiled the first original song to get a proper release. However, you would have thought that after all that time and effort, she would have come up with something a bit more EXCITING than this for her big debut moment. It has to be one of the most basic pop songs you will ever here. Awkward timing as well considering Pharrell's next single is titled Marylin Monroe

Why would her label choose this as the first single? I don't believe for a second that she hasn't recorded anything better.

 

For a debut single, it's dull, quite boring, and doesn't show off her vocal ability at all.
