Former Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has died aged 45 after a long battle with cancer.

 

He was the assistant manager under Pep Guardiola's reign. Where Barcelona won the treble in their first season in charge in the 2008/09 season.

 

He won the La Liga with Barcelona last year and had to step down due to his ill health.

 

 

Sad day in the world of football.

Enormously sad. His achievements as manager look better given how this season's gone and I have no doubt he was behind a lot of what was great about Guardiola's regime. RIP Tito.
