October 5, 200618 yr Author Announcing Wait A Minute Weekend! On Sunday October 8th and Monday October 9th, the PCD will be shooting a video for "Wait A Minute". As time permits, they will hang out in The Lounge. Here is a short FAQ about how the event will work: Q: When will the Dolls be in The Lounge? A: The Dolls will be shooting a video most of the day and into the evening on Sunday October 8th and Monday October 9th in Los Angeles. As they get breaks from their video shoot, they will be logging into The Lounge to hang out, dance, and have private chats with you Loungers! Q: But what time will they be in?? A: We really have no idea. The video shoot will probably go from early in the morning to late in the evening on both days. It's impossible to know when the dolls will have breaks, how the long breaks will be, etc. Q: But how will I know exactly when to login to talk to the dolls? A: You won't. We won't either until there's a break in the video shoot. Login as much as you can and maybe you'll get lucky Q: How will I know when a doll logs in or becomes active A: We'll try to send system messages when a doll is online Q: Which servers will the dolls login to? A: We will have three servers up: San Francisco, Paris, and Miami. Dolls will be making public appearances on all servers Q: What will the dolls do when they are online? A: Dolls will hang out in public areas (like the dance floor, disco rooftop, basketball court, plaza, etc.) and they will also have private chats with Loungers Q: Won't the dolls get mobbed if they are out in public? A: That's up to you. If people give them space and don't crowd, everyone's experience will be better. Q: How will the private chat with the dolls work? A: When a doll has a free block of time, she will login to one of the servers and we will transport her to special place where Loungers will be able to chat privately with her. Loungers will be randomly selected to chat with the doll by Lounge Staff. Q: What can I do to increase my chances of being picked for private chat? A: Not much. Just be logged in. Bugging Lounge Staff won't help Q: Will you guys take pictures of the video shoot and of the Dolls on their laptops? A: Yes! If all goes well, we'll be posting pictures to this forum throughout the day Sunday and Monday Q: Will you guys be keeping chat logs like you did for the Kim event? A: We'll try to capture some, but we probably won't be able to capture all of it. Q: I live in Gstaad, what time is that for me? A: There's a great online meeting planner here.
