I can't believe they are still insisting this new studio album is out before the end of the year. I'd rather it just an EP, no Xmas album please.

No, I've just watched the full interview and they didn't say that.

I think, basically, the future is unclear for them as a band at the moment. I'm guessing they may have had some plans outside and inside The Saturdays before this week, but the quite shocking opening sales of 2.7k albums despite tour editions and various other editions, partnered with the fact they can't get a song on the radio anymore has probably really stunted their plans. My guess is that they're probably in a kind pop-purgatory at the moment and nothing has been decided as of yet... There will probably be panic meetings in head office this week.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Frankie solo single before the end of this year or early next year. I really hope she is popular on Strictly. I'd hate for her to go out early.

If they can't sell an album or single after constantly being on the scene for 7 years, how on earth are they meant to do it after a break?

Well the beak gives them a chance to reinvent their music and make the GP a little thirsty for new Sats music.

You know, I think it is the best thing for them. I will be heart broken but at least I will get to see them in concert which has been a dream of mine for years.

That's part of the problem, people are probably sick and bored of them always releasing new stuff. Take some time off to give people time to actually want new music from them.

But they said on the interview that they weren't going on hiatus and are bringing out another album this year?
