As I get older I do believe it was more of a concept rather than a reality. So she had named it and had certain songs recorded, but I always wondered where "The Original Doll" sessions ended and "Blackout" started. My theory is there is no difference really.
I didn't know that Jive never had any plans to release Mona Lisa as a single. I always thought it was just scrapped.

It's a shame it never materialised given how good the album Brit did have some control over ended up being! I doubt it exists in more than a couple of songs cos surely jive would have released it in some capacity, there is so much hype/legend around it they'd have been mad not to cash in. This makes me think that the only tracks considered for it are ones we've already heard.

What a brilliant, yet saddening read! :( My emotions were all over the place reading that. Makes me think a biopic film about her would be SO good.

It does make me think that we will probably get this album in a posthumous way (hopefully not until we're all nearing 60-70 years old ourselves though obvz). Makes me vomit a little just how much control they have over her though and how much they take/took advantage of her!

It's no wonder she went as crazy as she did though after reading this. Nobody was listening to her in a cry for help at all. (And I think it says so much about someone when the people that have worked and recorded/wrote with Britney says how professional she is!)

Yeah, sort of but back then it was all new to her. She's learnt to adapt and just brush it off/gotten on with it easier now. She has her two boys who we al lknow are the main reason as to why she smiles nowadays.
