Rio Ferdinand has completed a 1 year deal to QPR from Manchester United.

Demba Ba has completed an 8 million pound deal to Besiktas from Chelsea :D

Mathieu Debuchy has completed a 12 million pound switch to Arsenal from Newcastle.

Netherlands right-back Daryl Janmaat has joined Newcastle United for an undisclosed fee from Feyenoord.

Newcastle United have signed Monaco forward Emmanuel Riviere

West Ham have signed Ecuador striker Enner Valencia on a five-year contract from Mexican club Pachuca for 12 Million.

I must admit that the top 4 this season is going to be an incredible battle. Arsenal are really going all out in strengthening their squad and are looking likely to purchase Khedira also following Real Madrid purchasing Toni Kroos. James Rodriguez is also looking likely in joining Real Madrid - wouldn't be surprised to see Modric / Di Maria / Benzema joining the Premier League now.

Poor Blackpool also seem to be looking likely of having an abomination of a season following their transfers. 8 players with the season starting in three weeks.

When will QPR learn? Rio must be on some big wages...

The battle for the Top 4 will be last year's top 4, plus Man Utd. Although as of right now, I expect the top 4 will be exactly the same as it was last year. The title race will be more interesting, but can't see the winners being Chelsea. Think they're far more likely to win the Champions League.

I think this will be Arsenal's best chance of winning the Premier League depending on if they manage to purchase another centre back. I'm positive that if there was ever a year for Chelsea to win the Premier League it's this year.

I can't see Arsenal winning. Just again, think they will slip up against the bigger teams, and continue to drops points here and there against the weaker teams. They've a really strong squad, but I think they will be forced to play Ramsey deeper this year, which may or may not effect their attacking play to accommodate everyone else.

Just don't see Chelsea breaking down the brick walls that will face them. I know they've signed Costa who will help, but they've gone for defensive capabilities over someone who can actually unlock a defence.

We are also still trying to buy George Thorne from West Brom who was outstanding in his loan spell with us for the second half of last season and George has since handed in a transfer request to West Brom which was rejected. I do hope we can get him though!

Derby have finally agreed a fee for Thorne (rumoured to be around 2 to 2.5 million but not exactly sure) and are just awaiting personal terms to be agreed - which shouldn't be a problem considering Thorne's desire to come to us plus several of our players are already tweeting him about it! If the price is true it will be our most expensive transfer for a long time, the most expensive since the 2007/08 Premier League season if I remember rightly! George was incredible in the games he played at the end of last season and I really believe we can get automatic promotion with the team we have now.

Borini joining Sunderland from Liverpool for 14 million!

Cracking deal for Liverpool if true. Especially if we're replacing him with Remy.

I can't believe that Sunderland are purchasing Borini for 14 million and Liverpool are purchasing Remy for 8.5 million (which has been agreed). Remy is such a quality striker and is a perfect buy for Liverpool.

Borini has a very high ceiling, but he's still really raw, and not good enough to be a starter for Liverpool yet. Think he'll be a cracking player in a couple of years, but right now Liverpool need to replace the Suarez goals. Remy averages a goal every two games, and is proven in the Premier League. A lot of people are making the Spurs assumption with us at the moment. I see the point, but it's completely different. Spurs tried to change their whole team, we're trying to improve our squad. Infact I think the nly player we've signed so far who will start against Southampton will be Lallana.

Apparently Derby and Blackburn have joined the race to sign Gary Mackay-Steven from Dundee United. Apparently he is as highly rated by Dundee United as Johnny Russell was, and he was fantastic at Derby last season so hopefully Johnny can encourage him to come and join Derby!

:(

Heard about this last night. It's frustrating that Blackburn or Derby will get Gary Mackay-Steven for cheap due to his contract running out. He will do brilliant in the premier league. He's easily a fan favourite for Dundee United and I would be the first to admit that he's too good for Dundee United.

Hull are also looking set to sign Andrew Robertson for 2.5 million. Easily the best left back in the SPL. Gutted :(.

Liverpool are closing in on deals to sign Southampton defender Dejan Lovren and Lille striker Divock Origi.

Ben Davies looks set to join Tottenham from Swansea with Gylfi Sigurdsson looking set to Join Swansea from Tottenham as part of an exchange. Tottenham are also wanting to purchase Vorm. I would much rather Vorm over Fabianski tbh. I'm sure that this will be the season that Swansea get relegated now. I don't rate Gary Monk as a manager.

Really pleased about Enner Valencia. At last we've got some strength in depth up front - there's talk of moving to a diamond midfield to accommodate him and Carroll / Zarate as well as Diamé, Noble, Morrison and Kouyate.

I'm guessing Wenger will want to use Wilshere deep alongside either Khedira or Carvalho. Four ahead out of Ozil, Ramsey, Sanchez, Giroud, Podolski, Walcott, Ox and Rosicky sounds rather terrifying.

Do wonder if Spurs sign Vorm, how long Lloris will be at the club for. Can't see him wanting to be 2nd choice.

I can't see Wilshere getting anywhere near the Arsenal starting XI if they sign another midfielder. Simple fact that he just hasn't progressed since his injuries, and I don't actually think he's that good.

So James is officially a Real Madrid player.

Khedira to Arsenal is off. di Maria to PSG is taking an age.. wonder who they'll have to sell now? They'd be mad to sell Isco, but can see them doing so.

Player-coach contract isn't it?

Not seen anything about the coaching part. Only seen the one year deal. Surely means Lukaku is on his way out. Terrible deal.

The exodus at Southampton looks like it's continuing with Calum Chambers apparently joining Arsenal for £12m. Surprised their selling another of their youngsters.
I'm gutted about Drogba joining Chelsea - I can't help but think he left on such a legendary status and his return to Chelsea will be rather poor.
