Posted September 5, 200618 yr It's Acquiesce as a re-release. Set to be released in Japan on the 25th of October. Now it's not known if it's going be released in the UK. Another track might be released for the UK. And one of the b-sides is strongly rumored to be Champagne supernova (remix). Acquiesce wasn't released as a Physical single but it was released as a promo CD in 1998 for "the masterplan b-side album) You heard it first here :D
September 5, 200618 yr My favourite B-Side. ^_^ I hope its released in Britan as well as its a true gem of a track. ^_^

September 6, 200618 yr Author surely there will be at least one brand new track on the stop the clocks album that will be released and used for promo yes there is a strong chance that they might release a new song. only time will tell :)
September 6, 200618 yr Author it's almost 99% certain that acquiese is going to be the new single. the video will be shot in japan and finished in London.
September 6, 200618 yr I told an Oasis fan about this today and lets just say he was very happy about the news.
September 6, 200618 yr This is very odd indeed. If they have 2 new songs on the GH album why are'nt they releasing one of them to promote the album. Acquience is an amazing song but it is very old. I don't understand really. I mean Noel has said that "Stop the clocks" is one of the best songs he has written
September 6, 200618 yr Author yeah i understand your point scotty. well there is going to be a new b-side. and hopefully 1 or 2 new songs on the album.
September 6, 200618 yr From the sun online. Oasis singled out ... again September 06, 2006 I HEAR OASIS are to re-release the single Acquiesce in time for the launch of their greatest hits album. Sources tell me that, despite not being happy at putting out the album, they have agreed to re-record the track. The band are flying out to Japan next week to film the video. Then, after just a couple of days, they will return to London to finish it off. U2 did a similar thing with Sweetest Thing. They re-recorded the track to tie in with their The Best Of: 1980-1990 CD, released in 1998. Some Might Say Oasis are ripping off someone else’s idea.
