Recently I've been seeing more and more people talking about Nelly putting out a B-Sides CD towards the end of the year. Is there actually any official news or is this just rumours? I've also heard there is going to be a re release of Loose which has an accoustic CD with accoustic versions of Maneater and Promiscuous. Again, is there anything actually official about this? I've got this information from chit chat between fans really but haven't seen any proof. Anyone know anything more concrete?

 

The accoustic CD sounds good to me but I would prefer it if it were just part of the supposed B side album rather than a re release which this album doesn't really need.

No, I havent heard this..I like the Idea of the Acoustic CD though.

Its all rumour and speculation, NOTHING has been confirmed yet, tbh i think they'll wait to see how 'Maneater' does in the US and make their decision based on that. Maybe after 'Say It Right' they'll re-release which wont be till late spring/early summer next year.

 

Geffen have a habit of doing re-releases, they did it with Gwen and with 'Crowd Control' still waiting to appear I think a re-release is likely, just not until later on nexy year...

I think if she released an album with 8 B-sides, say, and 4 accoustic versions of Loose tracks - I would be happy with that. A re release makes no sense to me - especially when there's nothing wrong with the current version of Loose. It's just a way of getting fans to shell out more money.

they shouldnt release anything this year or it will take from loose sales,although addiing a bonus cd to loose would do great for sales

or a live disc would be even better

I heard it was the opposite way round - B Side album for Christmas this year and then a re release early next year.

There's no way a re-release will happen this year, just NO WAY. Maneater is just getting going there now and won't be done till January most likely. Say It Right will be out there Jan/Feb most likely. A re-release on't happen till single number 4 at the earliest imo.

 

'Loose' is doing fine enough, I just don't see WHY it would need a re-release now, ive heard nothing about one either.

 

An acoustic/b-sides album in time for the Christmas-rush is a possibility though...

But i cant see one doing that well tbh, make Top 20 on Albums, Not much! :D

I think she's not established enough for it to do great but its some sort of MONEY-SPINNER we shall see though, we should have details soon if its happening in time for Christmas, soon.

can't see a bside album for Xmas... Universal wants people to buy Loose :)
