This movie has already released everywhere but I noticed that it doesn't have a topic here. So, I decided to make one. :)

I watched this movie yesterday. Basically, "Jack Ryan : The Shadow Recruit" was released in my city four months ago. However, the opendoor cinemas always display movies which they have released during autumn and winter. So, I haven't watched that movie from that time ago but I decided with a good friend to watch it this time. The price of the ticket was quite cheap (2.5 euros).

This movie is based on the fictional Jack Ryan character created by Tom Clancy. Chris Pine was the fourth actor to play Ryan, following Alec Baldwin, Harisson Ford and Ben Afflect. The oldest movies were "The Hunt for Red October", "Patriot Gamers", "Clear and Present Danger" and "The Sum of All Fears". This movie isn't an adaptation but it doesn't differ with the other spy movies. It has similar screenplay and the action was certainly in the last 30 minutes. It wasn't bad overall. It has action, suspense and some funny quotes but I don't think that all of them helped a lot the result. The director of the movie is Kenneth Brannagh, who has also directed “Thor” three years ago. He is not only the director of this film, but he is also the villain ("Viktor Cherevin"). The story is quite well-timed if you judge the Crimean crisis. Chris Pine was suitable for the role, Keira Knightley is always likeable (although she spoke with her teeth) and Kevin Costner is back. Time passes away pleasantly and I guess that it could be the identical proposal if you had a good mood and good company. It wasn't very commercial in the Box Office (50.000.000) and it didn't manage to have a major impact in other territories (Europe, Asia, Australia). It has also an average rating in Imdb (6.2). I wouldn't highly recommend it but I could say that it was easy to stomach. If you are bored, grab some pop corn and make sure to have a comfortable seat.
