I Am Mariah … The Elusive Chanteuse" (58,427 sold) is Mariah's 17th Top 10 album, and her lowest first week sales for a non-holiday album in the Soundscan era. Her previous lowest was 156k for Emotions (1991) in its first week.Cher Lloyd's "Sorry I'm Late" sells 16,607 to debut at #12. Her first album "Sticks + Stones" debuted at #9 with sales of 30,876.This week's album sales were 4.2 million - down -13% on last week and down -13% compared with same week last year. YTD stands at 102.91 million - down -15% on same point last year.

I think it's still pretty good going as she has zero buzz and only one big (two year old) hit to her name.
