June 14, 201411 yr I don't understand why Helen's odds are so low, it's not as if she's going anywhere before those above her. :kink: The only time I can really see the pass to the final being revoked by the power housemate if they're given the opportunity is just past the halfway mark.

She could easily come 6th though (assuming it's a final of 6), and any combination of the people above her in the odds could get to the final and have a greater chance of winning. That's why she's low! The fact she's (currently) guaranteed a place in the final, but she's very low down the odds, says quite a lot really. Basically saying that she has a pretty small chance of being the winner, regardless of her pass that secures she at least has a chance.
June 14, 201411 yr I am surprised she is that low down though in terms of betting. I would be surprised if she won admittedly, and I'd be stunned if she won, but she is a safer bet than everybody else on that list given her immunity.

There are other markets to bet on as well, this one just happens to be a "Vote to Win". At this point. No, she won't win. However there is a market for "Top Three Finish" which she is #1.
June 16, 201411 yr I really find Chris so so so bland. Just because he is an outsider doesnt mean he makes a good housemate, he literally has nothing to him whatsoever.

He's alright, he's grown on me a little but I agree somewhat. He's made good decisions while he had the power but I don't see how he made enough of an impression to get it in the first place...
June 16, 201411 yr Definitely disagree with Chris being 'bland'. He's seems to have a great judge of character and had Pauline sussed prior to hearing the crowd boos, unlike the vast majority of housemates. I find him clever, witty, somewhat endearing and there's subtle things he says and does that make him great, for example when he was talking to Pauline right after she was nominated and told her not to change a thing about herself in a faux-supportive manner. Also: "They swallow her bullshit and enjoy it just as much as her dinners". Bland, really?!
June 16, 201411 yr He is very monotone, and doesnt really contribute that much. If he wasnt the power housemate, I doubt he would be doing anything worthy of airtime.

I did find that comment funny and he is right about Pauline but so is Jale and she's much more entertaining in my opinion.
June 17, 201411 yr Tuesday Odds To Win: Chris: 3/1 Jale: 4/1 Winston: 5/1 Christopher: 9/1 Mark: 12/1 Matthew: 16/1 Kimberly: 16/1 Ash: 18/1 Ashleigh: 18/1 Danielle: 28/1 Helen: 33/1 Marlon: 33/1 Toya: 40/1 Steven: 50/1 Pauline: 100/1 Most Popular Bets: Winston, Chris & Pauline (all on their current odds) Tuesday Eviction Odds: Pauline: 2/11 Steven: 7/1 Marlon: 10/1 Christopher: 14/1 Ash: 16/1 Jale: 33/1
June 17, 201411 yr No real shock on any of the odds. Pauline's odds to go are just  Toya has taken such a turn for the worst.. Great to see the consensus is that she's a horrible person. Such a disappointing housemate. Great to see Danielle's odds start to improve. Hopefully we see Kimberly's odds start improving!! I think in time we may see her Top 4!
June 17, 201411 yr Pleased to see Kimberly slowly making her way up, I think she will be the token third placed housemate (if not her, it will be Jale but I have an inkling Jale will ruin herself soon after Pauline goes maybe).
June 17, 201411 yr Jale is very generic, I feel. I feel like we've seen her/her character done hundreds of times before (but better) and although I sympathise a lot with her, I just can't fully support her for the win. Chris' VT was very true to himself and it's his subtle jokes that go over peoples heads that I find funny (hence the whole "pissing in the kitchen sink" comment going over Pauline's head when it clearly wasn't serious.) He's always said he's a nice guy and that one of his flaws was that he is often too nice. He's genuine and everything that Noah stated, for me. I'm loving him and him as power housemate has been incredible. He's really ruffled feathers!
June 17, 201411 yr I find both of them pretty bland tbh :( I do admire Jale how she is sticking up for herself and not letting it get to her but if she wasnt an outsider would she really be all that fun to watch? I dont think so. Gina and Deana actually had something to them, where she does not imo. It is why I am finding it hard to find a favourite right now, Kimberly just edges it for me right now because I find her really interesting, the rest dont really do all that much for me tbh. I need someone to REALLY put Helen and/or Pauline in their place and they will probably end up being my fave . Praying that Kimberly is the one to do it, if not I could see Toya maybe seeing the light finally and saying something. Jale of course too but she is playing it too safe right now, I cant fully support someone who doesnt stick up for themselves.

I really don't get why she hasn't said something to them already! Like you say perhaps she's playing it a bit too safe and this was her game plan all along? Obviously not to be bullied to this extent (how has Helen not been given other warnings?), but to isolate herself and become "the victim" to get on the side with the public? I dunno. It's only really Helen/Pauline/Toya who are treating her like shit.
June 17, 201411 yr At least Gina and Deana actually stood up for themselves, Gina against Hazel and Sallie even though they were mostly liked by everyone in the house. Deana against Luke S / Connor / Arron too. Jale took on Pauline quite well but she is just letting Toya and Helen treat her like shit for the most part. Not like she doesnt have friends to support her like you said, Chris, Christopher, Danielle, Ashleigh and possibly Kimberly and Mark still talk to her and are nice to her so she needs to stop playing the victim quite so much. If anyone remembers her VT she came across quite aggressive and argumentative, so it is a bit suspicious that she hasnt confronted Helen or Toya properly yet.
June 17, 201411 yr I don't think that she's not confronting Helen because she doesn't have the balls, there's obvious glimpses of Jale's strength. If she wasn't a strong character, then she'd be breaking down in tears, and by breaking down in tears she would also enhance her 'victim' status. But for some people, their way of dealing with opposition isn't to tackle them head on. It was ace that Gina did and it created some iconic moments, but Jale is already an outcast. If she has a huge slanging match with Jale, she runs the risk of alienating herself even further and she has no idea that the public will take her side. It's easy to talk from the perspective of viewers, something which the housemates themselves haven't. I actually have a great amount of respect for the way she IS handling it, as there's no way I'd be able to keep my mouth shut if I was in that scenario. Her stance of "they're being bitches but f*** it, I'm not gonna lower myself to their stupidity and immaturity" is rather refreshing imo.
June 17, 201411 yr I think part of it is just being frustrated that Pauline and Helen are jsut being allowed to get away with it and everyone crawls up their assholes because they are too afraid to be an outsider.
