What a ridiculously unfair twist. But I guess BB has completely broken so many fundamental rules this series that I'm not that surprised.

 

I agree that if Jale goes tonight (which still seems unlikely but needs to happen for the sake of dynamics, even though I quite like her), Ashleigh v Marlon is tough to call. Face to face nominations tend to result in the 'obvious' nominees being nominated as people don't want to cause drama for themselves by picking a housemate who's popular among housemates, so it'd definitely come down to those two. I think Marlon has pissed off a lot of people and has only ever been particularly close to Winston, Steven and Ash (and Jale), who have all expressed disgust with what he did so I'd hope he'd be the one to go. I think it could also depend on Ashleigh's crowd reaction - it'd be great if it was mixed at least. I still think she'll probably go tonight though unfortunately, in which case I'd be confident Marlon would get more votes than Danielle.

 

 

There will be a live face to face nomination on Monday with the person gaining the most votes immediately evicted in a surprise twist. Goodbye Ashleigh. Big Brother just seem desperate to evict her. It would only be fair to be allowed to nominate Helen also then?

Just remembered Vanessa from BB6 was evicted by the housemates choosing between the two that were nominated I think. But I don't think it's ever happened again, although I could easily be forgetting something.

Housemates won't know that they're evicting somebody though - a surprise room has been done too much.

Perhaps they're going to a secret room, and will be joined by whoever is "evicted" on Monday ala Aisleyne from BB7.

Just remembered Vanessa from BB6 was evicted by the housemates choosing between the two that were nominated I think. But I don't think it's ever happened again, although I could easily be forgetting something.

Gerry in BB8, I think something like 4 or 5 of the housemates who won a task (I remember Samanda were among them and I think Liam?) got to choose between him or Carole to be evicted.

Now that we have managed to keep in Ashleigh tonight, she better not go due to this eviction happening on Monday. It'll definitely be between her and Marlon, I just hope that they haven't all forgiven Marlon by then.

11 people in the house. So they are likely to make one nomination per person in order to not potentially have a tie on their hands.

 

I wonder if the 'uncool' kids will also have the unanimous decision about who to vote out because if Ash/Helen/Kim all vote for her (I don't think Steven has the balls to do it face-to-face), there will need to be some agreement to overthrow the Helen Gang's decision.

Yeah I was thinking it was one, that's why I'm potentially worried for Ashleigh - Helen won't vote marlon over her!

 

Rumours are abound on twitter that only two of the newbies will stay, one will be evicted on Friday in lieu of another eviction of the originals.

I just read that the eviction on Monday will actually be a first - the first time ever that the public has no say at all! in BB3, the public decided who was up for eviction when Lynne went first over Jade (I think all the HMs chose to save Jade) and in BB6/8 when they had housemates deciding who'd be evicted, they had to choose who out of the top 2 (I think both of those series had vote to evict) housemates after the public vote to be evicted.

 

Everyone is so uppity about it it seems, I think it's good to have something that hasn't been done before.

 

 

Edit: I'm starting to think it might be a fake eviction (a la Aisleyne in the house next door or Emma/Michelle in the bedsit), Emma hinted she "doesn't think it will be as simple as one out, three in". And there's another twist on Friday which backs up the rumours that one of the newbies will go on Friday, maybe the HMs or public have to decide to swap one of the newbies for Monday's evictee?

Helen and Ashleigh 'buried the hatchet' last night and Ashleigh saved Helen from some task. Think she should be alright for Monday's eviction now, especially as it's rumoured that housemates will only nominate one person. Feel like it's gonna be Marlon gone~
