June 12, 201411 yr Author Chris has been voted the new Power Housemate not suprised really thought it would be him.
June 12, 201411 yr I really hope that the power doesn't do to chris what it did to pauline, although she seemed a lot more keen to get stuck in and control everything so I think he'll put in a lot more thought that she did.

June 13, 201411 yr It seems Toya has well and truly stepped over to the dark side. :( She had a bitching session with Helen & Ash about Christopher. Still not understanding what he's actually done to wind up Pauline and her fellow "insiders" so much?! To the extent that they claim to hate him? :/ I'm hoping that Jale and Christopher have the opportunity to stand up for themselves soon. Jale seems to be taking a non-confrontational approach though, and is only letting her guard down in the diary room. It was horrible to see her crying over Pauline being so nasty to her. :( Jale was being patient and calm while listening to Pauline, who was having a right go at her over the chicken situation (seriously get over it, woman!). Then Pauline storming off and announcing to everyone that she won't speak to Jale or mention her name ever again. Vile, immature behaviour. Can't believe she was my initial favourite in the first couple of days. It certainly looks like we have a series of bullying to look forward to, sigh. Potentially good housemates descending into negative, bitchy and bullying traits is such a shame.
June 13, 201411 yr Chris has been voted the new Power Housemate not suprised really thought it would be him. Ugh :/ I was really hoping it'd be Kimberly, knew it'd be chris though. I seriously don't get the appeal... he's ok but I don't get how he's favourite to win now...
June 13, 201411 yr I think alot of opinions on individuals have changed in this last week with the viewing public. Specifically Pauline and Helen. Pauline went in as the clear favorite, and that took a dive pretty quickly. Helen really was meant to be one of those people who were supposed to hate initially because of something that happened, but she's actually a good personal ya'll! And she was supposed to prove that this summer. Clearly that's not going to happen now. The only two people that I feel have really proved their worth, in a positive light from their VTs would be Kimberly and Toya. Chris on the other hand, his VT wasn't terrible, he's not that unlikeable.. I suppose? But he's sustained whatever worth he proved on Day 2 when going in - so I see maybe why he was picked? He's a non-threat, and hasn't rocked the boat yet. Don't get me wrong - I'd prefer probably 6 or 7 people over him to be the Power Housemate, mostly Kimberly. <3

June 13, 201411 yr ^ Ha, I hope that only serves to piss off the Twitter fangirl mafia and Tamara picks up enough extra votes to be evicted.
June 14, 201411 yr Christopher has also been nominated for eviction, I assume it'll just be him, Jale and Pauline so that absolutely seals Pauline's eviction. It'll be absolutely amazing to see Pauline lose out to two of the housemates she's spent her entire stay hating for no reason :D
June 14, 201411 yr Watching the repeat as I was out last night. Only 15 minutes in and I'm RILED. What the hell Pauline?! Such a vile person.
June 14, 201411 yr Pleased with the nomination for Christopher, but only because that'll leave Pauline feeling very confused. She'll realise that the power housemate can't be Jale or Christopher, and she seemed to be under the impression it was only those two who would ever dream of nominating her, "out of revenge". Pauline's fate is sealed!

She'll realise that the power housemate can't be Jale or Christopher, and she seemed to be under the impression it was only those two who would ever dream of nominating her, "out of revenge". Exactly. Very smart move for Chris to nominate Christopher: - As you've said, it contradicts Pauline's notion that her nomination was one of revenge and it might just dawn on her that some other housemates may actually have genuine issues with her. I'd say her next line of reasoning will be that the power housemate only nominated her based on the crowd chanting though! - Nominating an 'outsider' as well as an 'insider' throws everyone off the scent, particularly as I believe Chris and Christopher get on fairly well. - Chris knows Christopher is highly unlikely to be evicted over Pauline. Nominating one of her allies, say Stephen, could potentially split votes - not enough for him to be evicted over her but there's still a risk (in his mind anyway). - Pauline leaving over both of her main 'enemies' Jale and Christopher would make her followers completely re-evaluate where they fit into the house dynamics. (It will also be great viewing to see Pauline try to explain the result :D). - Christopher will get a good confidence boost from staying and I'd imagine Chris agrees that Christopher has been unfairly treated.

It's a shame that Chris couldn't nominate himself though, or would that have been a bit too obvious?
June 14, 201411 yr It doesn't prove that the power housemate could be Jale though as she's automatically put up for eviction every week. I don't get you . I don't think either of us were saying that. But I'm hungover so my brainpower is limited
June 14, 201411 yr Oops that was meant it "doesn't prove it couldn't be Jale" not could. Haha. Unless I misread (which is perfectly possible as I am on my phone haha) I thought you two were saying it'd rule out Jale for Pauline to consider her as the possible Power Housemate as she's up too. (Hope this is making sense, again, im on my phone lol)

Well I was saying Jale would be ruled out on the basis that she wouldn't be likely to nominate Christopher, as Pauline and everyone else knows they are close(ish). All of the above. Chris is doing fantastic as power housemate

I thought the same, chris really impressed me by choosing Christopher for so many reasons! He really must have thought it through and the more I think about the more I see that Chris made an amazing choice.
June 14, 201411 yr chris' third nomination is for steven. don't really think that's such a good idea considering that he's on the same side as pauline and co. meaning that he may soak up some of the votes that pauline would get. he is a huge bellend though.
