I think and hope my entry will get through, the reaction to it has been a lot better than Shadow Child which almost made it.

We'll see.

Are you sure you're not pulling a Pavel on us with these results??? 'Lions, Tigers, Bears' sounded like the most obvious DNQ in the whole thing to me (yay for new countries not flopping though, hopefully the other 2 will also make it).

Yay for popchartfreak getting that Q. Singerpurear entering a new era of smashes. Not really that big a fan of 'Hurting' though.

I agree with this.

Next up from Semi 1 we have...

Greenfroze: Hang The DJ - Dark Dark In The Night

And from Semi 2...

Bignia-Zaragovina: RHODES - Your Soul

Well done to Greenfroze for getting their unusual little pop song through to the final! And Bignia who have been towards the top of most of the odds qualify as well. Greenfroze are perfoming 9th in the final, Bignia are performing 2nd.

'Hurting' is so so good, does feel a bit odd in amongst all these newer songs but hey! if it finds them new fans...

No I'm not. There are no twists here, just facts!

Greenfroze (miracously) making it! One of my favorite songs from the first semis! The RHODES track is fab too ~

nah I think Heathers could've appealed to quite a lot of people in that semi tbf. Sola Fide & Klapp Klapp are about the only 2 from there I can't see advancing

I think I voted for Heathers, albeit definitely near the bottom of my pile.
Pleased to see Hang The DJ through, definitely one of Freeze's better entries of late. And 'Your Soul' is wonderful, hopefully a top 10 contender?

And next from Semi 1, it's...

Mdice: Coming Out Crew - Free Gay & Happy (Deep Throat Vocal)

And from Semi 2 we have...

Isconia: Sultan & Ned Shepard - All These Roads (feat Zella Day & Sam Martin)

Congrats to Mdice whose retro 90s dance anthem will be perfoming 5th in the semi and is tipped by many as a winner. Also highly regarded in many of the odds is Isconia who have switched tack to get a qualifier and gone down the pop/dance route. And it's worked! They'll be on in the 30th spot in the final!

Sultan & Ned Shepard  Not a fan of the Mdice entry, but it's still good to see it qualify.
I guess the share of shock Qs has run out for semi 2 bye final

Now from Semi 1 we have...

Persephonia: Quirke - Break A Mirrored Leg

and from Semi 2...

Altyr Muunilinst: Rae Morris - Cold (feat Fryars)

Congrats to Persephonia who will be performing in 23rd. And Rae and Fryars both make the final for a second time for Altyr. It's a big favourite but can Cold win the contest?

Next two, from Semi 1 we have...

Tartford: Humate - Love Stimulation

And from Semi 2:

Trifoski: Blawan - Getting Me Down

The two T's will be performing in 17th and 12th place in the final respectively. Well done to the usually unlucky Tartford, with another throwback anthem and former champions Trifoski, will another victory be on the cards?
