September 6, 200618 yr Final Destination's got some great deaths. The Alien stomach-popping scene was awesome. The decapitation in The Omen (original of course). All the original Texas Chainsaw deaths were horrific.
September 6, 200618 yr Final Destination's alright, but I don't like some of the CGI in it. Especially in number 2.
September 6, 200618 yr I can think of a worst one (I know it's off topic a bit, sorry), at the end of Hellraiser no.1 when the man gets the hooks in him and gets pulled apart, it looked so fake, his face just looked like rubber.
September 6, 200618 yr I know what you mean but i must admit i love te Final Destination series and the Hellraiser Series (Well the first 3 anyway)
September 6, 200618 yr I think the final destination franchise has some great death scenes The bit where the girl screams "Why dont you just drop dead..?" and then gets splatted by a bus is probably the best one..... Although in FD2 the bit where the kid gets splatted by the big pane of glass is fukkin' hilarious, especially when you hear the stooooopid line of dialogue that precedes it - "Look out, the pigeons..."...  I kinda think that the "Final Destination" films can, in a certain light, be taken as bizarre comedies rather than serious Horror films....
September 7, 200618 yr I think some of the nightmare on elm street movies had some of the most interesting and imaginative death sequences in film. Especially the first death in the first movie.

September 7, 200618 yr Yes defo! for the time it was released! it was like OH MY GOD!!! :o :D Especially in Part 3 "the dream warriors". With the deaths and sequences in that film, nothing like that had ever been done before. in the later sequels the death scenes got a bit to commical but for a few movies they were really spectacular. Don't believe I am describing a death scene as "spectacular". creepy. lol
September 7, 200618 yr  well they are spectacular, because they aint real, but are creepy! the writers and directors for horror movies are the most creative i feel :D
