Great year for metal.

 

the year began with Metallica's amazingly powerful Master Of Puppets. Was going to be the finnest thrash album of all time until Megadeth and Slayer released there 2 blistering hot albums (Peace Sells and the extremely fast and short Reign In Blood).

 

Good year for traditional metal, with Iron Maiden bringing out the fabulous Somewhere In Time (their best album with Bruce Dickinson in my opinion). It contained one of my favourite metal singles of all time, Wasted Years which has a very cool but complex solo performed by the masters of going widdley widdley widdley Adrain Smith and Dave Murray.
